Veer Pahariya made his Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Sky Force. The actor essayed the role of an Indian Air Force officer in the patriotic action drama movie. He has been getting a lot of love for playing the role of a defence officer in the film inspired by true events. Now, for a long time, Virat Kohli's fans eagerly want to see his biopic. So, Veer was asked whether he was interested in playing the role of the prominent cricketer, but netizens had mixed views.

Veer Pahariya opens up on doing Virat Kohli's biopic

Veer has been riding high since January 26, 2025, as his character of 'T Vijaya', inspired by the late Squadron Leader, Ajjamada B Devaiah, was loved by his fans. During an interview with Filmy Gyan, the actor was asked if he was interested in playing the role of Virat Kohli and if a biopic on the legendary cricketer was made. The actor said:

"Virat sir toh bahut mahan hai. He is legendary. Ek josh, jasba, junoon hai apne kaam ko leke. Ya, I mean, it is very exciting what you are saying, very overwhelming. Hopefully in the years to come if you feel I am deserving, I will work very hard and if the makers are ever making a film and if they feel I am deserving would love to be a part if it."

Netizens call Veer Pahariya a 'chomu' if he does Virat Kohli's biopic

One user in the comment section of the video wrote, "Ye chomu perfect hai Virat ke biopic ke liye." Another one felt Shahid Kapoor was perfect while a third user wrote, "Chlo bhai mil gay actor too, ab producer thunder." There were few others who also dropped love emojis and dreamt of the actor in 'King Kohli's biopic.

Earlier, in an interview with First post, the actor shared that it was an honour to play a role that showcased the courage and sacrifices of our real-life heroes. Sharing the screen with Akshay added entire magic to his debut experience. The actor had to undergo rigorous training like a real-life fighter pilot's office to bring justice and authenticity to his role. He underwent drills and endurance workouts and had even taken flying lessons. Veer had immersed himself in the role and his character resonated with everyone.

Who is Veer Pahariya?

Veer is the son of Sanjay Pahadia who is a business tycoon and Smriti Sanjay Shinde who owns Sobo Films. His brother is Shikhar Pahariya and he is the grandson of politician, Sushilkumar Shinde who was the former CM of Maharashtra. He comes from a political background family but did carve a niche for himself in Bollywood. The 30-year-old star studied at Bombay Scottish School and Dhirubhai Ambani International School, like his younger brother, Shikhar. Reportedly, he had shifted to Dubai for his further education and then did a graduation degree in global financial management from Regent’s University, London.
