Veer Pahariya Shares Recreating SRK'S 'Dard E Disco' Dance At 13, 'Got Onto Diet For Six Pack..'

Veer Pahariya is on cloud nine, celebrating the success of his Bollywood debut, Sky Force. The actor's character was based on a real-life Indian Air Force hero, Sq. Ldr. Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya during a daring mission. However, do you know Veer's real-life hero since a kid has been Shah Rukh Khan? The actor turned 30 on February 1, 2025, and shared an unseen clip where he was seen dancing to SRK's hit song, Dard E Disco from Om Shanti Om. Veer shared how he went on a diet to get six packs and revealed how he shot the song.

Veer made a collage of Shah Rukh's, Dard E Disco dance along with his version of the song. He shared the old video on his birthday on Instagram and revealed he made the same when he was 13. He wrote in his caption about how he was obsessed with Bollywood movies and thanked his fans for loving Sky Force. Veer, in his long caption, penned:

"I had watched all the videos on the making of #dardedisco - learned the steps, got onto a diet for the six pack, organized the lights, fans, leaves, props, costumes and dancers and shot it on a Sony handycam with the cassette in 1 take because I didn’t know how to edit."

As seen in the clip, Veer donned a white shirt whose buttons were open, and matched the steps of SRK. Veer shared that his family had no idea as he didn’t take any money and everything was done with full jugaad. For the last shot with the fire sequence - the room was lit up and they used deodorant to enhance it. They had only one attempt to get it right. Fanaticism of another level, revealed the actor further in his post. Veer also thanked Farah Khan, SRK and God for making all his dreams come true.

When Veer Pahariya shared SRK's, Main Hoon Na changed his life

During an earlier interview with Zoom, Veer revealed that he was inspired by King Khan. Main Hoon Na, SRK's film, changed his life; even though the movie is not in his top 5 movies, it is still Veer's favourite. He said:

"I got Major Ram to this character. You will get to see that in Sky Force.” Veer further added that though he met Shah Rukh Khan, he never brought out the topic of Main Hoon Na being his favourite film from his filmography."

Veer Pahariya on his parents' separation

Going ahead in the interview, Veer shared that he  used to read many reports when he was a kid. He was not comfortable when people would write about his parents' separation. Talking about his relationships he said:

"I was 20 when gossip about my relationships made headlines. I was not in public life, so they never asked my opinion. What was on the internet was truth for people. I was affected by that but what can be done? Now, I don’t care.”
