Veer Pahariya Reveals He Was Gaslighted By An Ex Who Told 'He Wasn't Good Enough', 'I Ended The...'

Veer Pahariya is a new debutant in Bollywood who made a lot of noise with his performance in the film, Sky Force alongside Akshay Kumar.  Despite hailing from a well-known political famiy, Veer had to wait and work hard on himself to make a place for himself in the industry. Amid this, the actor's personal life has always been a subject of interest among the fans who are curious to know more about it. In a recent interview, Veer recalled how once an ex-girlfriend gaslighted him and how he tackled the situation.

Veer Pahariya recalls how his ex complaint that 'he wasn't good enough'  

Veer Pahariya has never shied away from responding to difficult questions about his personal life or trolling. Recently, he sat down for an interview with Hauterrfly, where he was asked if he is somebody who loses himself in a relationship. In his response, the young actor agreed and mentioned that one should be like that in love. Further, when asked about experiencing any red flags, Veer opened up about his past relationships and said:

"I have only been heartbroken once; otherwise, it's always been mutual or whatever with an understanding. But at different times in my life, I have had different relationships, and I feel they all teach you something good and bad, right? A lot of things."

He elaborated on facing red flags and stated that he had to never face any kind of physical abuse in any relationship. However, he had to deal with emotional challenges. Recalling one of his memories, Veer mentioned that an ex once tried to gaslight him and said he wasn't good enough. For those unaware, Gaslighting refers to when one person manipulates other to question their reasoning or capabilities. However, he soon ended the relationship. Sharing his learning from the incident, the actor said: 

"I have not faced any physical abuse but emotional and gaslighting. Like telling you you are not good enough and like negative for your growth. I ended the relationship. You have to cut off, and if you love truly, madly, deeply, you are going to have a turmoil you are gonna go deep into."

Veer Pahariya says he will talk about his relationship in future

In the same conversation, Veer mentioned that he can't speak about the incident anymore because he is still in the early days of his career, and it hasn't been long since his first film was released on the big screen. However, in future, he will talk about it. In his words: 

“I am going easy on everyone. But when the time comes I will talk about it. Mere liye bahut time ho gaya date pe jaake.”

Veer Pahariya's personal life

Veer Pahariya is the son of businessman, Sanjay Pahariya and Smriti Shinde. His parents parted ways when he was a kid, and since then, the media has kept his personal life in the spotlight. During 2015-16, he was allegedly in a relationship with Sara Ali Khan, and their old pictures went viral during Veer's debut. At the same time, Karan Johar confirmed the rumours in one of the episodes of his show, Koffee With Karan, which featured Sara Ali Khan as a guest.

In 2024, when Veer was spotted with former Miss World, Manushi Chillar, during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding bash, rumours about their relationship made headlines. However, nothing was confirmed, and the speculations receded.
