Sky Force Actor, Veer Pahariya Breaks Silence On His Parent's Divorce, 'It Was All Over The Papers'

Veer Pahariya is grabbing headlines for all the right reasons. He will soon debut in the film, Sky Force, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Amid the promotions for the film, his humble nature, politeness, and honesty have been winning hearts. The actor has already impressed fans with his stint in the film's trailer, and they can't wait to see more of his acting craft. For those unaware, the actor is the son of Smruti Shinde, the owner of Sobo Films, a media and production company. On the other hand, his father is business tycoon, Sanjay Pahariya, and his grandfather was the former CM of Maharashtra, Sushilkumar Shinde. In a recent interview, Veer opened up about how it was difficult for him to navigate through his parent's divorce. 

Veer Pahariya admits it was 'uncomfortable' to deal with his parents ‘public split' 

Veer Pahariya's parents tied the knot in 1993. But, after a few blissful years of marriage, they separated in 2005 and filed for divorce in 2007. Since his parents were popular figures in the entertainment and business industry, their split became a public issue of discussion, which made it difficult for Veer to deal with it. Recalling the situation, he said: 

"Since childhood, things about life have been in the public domain. My parents had a very public split, and in 2006 that came everywhere. There was no social media, but it was all over the papers that time. It was a very uncomfortable place to be as a child, but that was always written about."

As everyone knew and read about his parent's separation, wherever the actor went over the years, people knew because of his parents' split. At the same time, since newspapers were a major medium for distributing showbiz news, they became the medium for the news to spread widely. 

Veer Pahariya shares that there have been a lot of judgments about his personal life 

In the same conversation, Veer Pahariya added that the public attention and scrutiny wasn't limited to his parents. Rather, details from his personal life and relationships have often become a point of gossip and discussion since 2015. A year later, rumours and reports about Veer dating actress, Sara Ali Khan had also made headlines. But, the actor chose to be respectful about it and never made any statement or social media posts about it because he wasn't a public figure.

He added that the judgments have also continued to circle his brother, Shikhar Pahariya's life, and people raised speculations about their background, personality, and much more. Shikhar has lately grabbed headlines as he is dating actress, Janhvi Kapoor who speaks fondly about him in interviews.

Veer's debut movie, Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. It also stars Akshay Kumar, Nirmat Kaur, and Sharad Kelkar, among others, in prominent roles. Moreover, Veer is paired with his ex-girlfriend, Sara Ali Khan, in the film. The film will be released globally on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend.
