Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is quite the heartthrob and frequently leaves his many fangirls swooning. He is also known to have close friendships with the many female co-stars playing his filmy love interests, from Alia Bhatt to Shraddha Kapoor. Varun's acting mettle and charisma in romancing these gorgeous ladies can often make us forget he is a happily married man. Yes, Varun's real heart lies at home with the love of his life, Natasha Dalal, and now, his baby girl, Lara, who they welcomed into the world just a few months back in June 2024. Recently, the actor opened up about whether Natasha, who isn't from the entertainment industry, ever feels insecure because of the nature of his job.
Varun Dhawan recently appeared for a candid chat on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube channel. During the conversation, the actor opened up about how his wife, Natasha Dalal, deals with the nature of his profession and whether she ever feels insecure. Varun firmly shut down the idea and said that Natasha knew him inside-out and had complete faith in him. Talking about how he was the type to joke around and have fun with others but never cross the line, Varun said:
"She knows how I am, she knows me inside out. Usko pata hai ghar he aane vala hai lautke and I am like that. I don't have such interest. I will talk to someone nicely and will have fun with them but that's it. I am not interested in more than that."
For the unversed, Varun's beloved wife, Natasha, doesn't belong to a filmy family or work in the entertainment industry. She is a fashion designer and the founder of her eponymous design house, Natasha Dalal. Varun and Natasha's paths crossed years ago in the sixth grade. They studied in the same school and remained good friends for years. They finally realised they had feelings for each other and started dating in their 20s.
Further in the conversation, Varun Dhawan opened up about what he thought a healthy relationship entailed. According to him, marriage wasn't about pretending he never noticed a woman but having such a strong bond with his wife, Natasha, that he could tell her whenever he found someone 'pretty.' In his words:
"But I think this equation is necessary between husband and wife is necessary. You can lie that after marriage you don't even look at anyone else. But I discuss it with my wife, I tell her, 'This girl is so pretty, don't you think?' This much dialogue you have to have with your wife."
Varun admitted that he didn't have the exact 'formula' for a happy marriage. However, he stated in no small words that he loved his wife more than himself. Talking about all the ways she made his life better, Varun gushed:

"I don't know the formula for a happy marriage, but I love my wife more than I love myself, and that's why I married her. I think she's a better human being than me. I learn a lot from her. That is the truth."
While speaking with Subhankar, Varun Dhawan also discussed why Natasha Dalal had no qualms about him being in the limelight. According to the actor, his doting wife just didn't 'care' about the spotlight or fame. Varun added that Natasha frequently asked him to keep her away from the glitz and glam. In fact, the fashion designer didn't even like it when her much-in-love hubby talked about her in interviews. If the phrase 'opposites attract' ever perfectly described a couple, it would be Varun and Natasha!
