Recently, Urvashi sat down for an interview with NDTV and denied the rumours. She mentioned that the memes are based on fake information and have affected her daily life. "Regarding the persistent rumours linking me with RP (Rishabh Pant), I want to clarify that these memes and rumours are unfounded. I prefer to keep my personal life private. My focus remains on my career and the work I am passionate about."
Urvashi added that she wants to address this matter transparently and requested that people focus on truth rather than unverified facts. Moreover, she mentioned that she doesn't understand why meme pages get excited about such issues. In her words:
"It's important to address such matters with transparency and to concentrate on the truth rather than speculation. I don't understand why meme material pages get super excited."
In the same interview, Urvashi shared how these rumours and memes have affected her. She said that the constant scrutiny and rumours about her personal life have become a challenge for her. So, she tries to focus on her work and deal with these rumours by offering clarity. In her words:
"Dealing with constant scrutiny and unfounded rumours about my personal life can be challenging. I handle it by focusing on how I can control my work and my personal growth. I choose to address rumours with clarity and honesty while maintaining my privacy and not letting speculation distract me from my career. Surrounding myself with supportive people and staying grounded in my values helps me manage the pressure and stay focused on my goals."
The rumours of Urvashi dating Rishabh Pant began through a statement where the former mentioned that some "RP" had made her wait for hours. It was back in 2022, and netizens soon linked it to Rishabh Pant, who had always been silent about the issue. She even flew to a few other countries when team India played and shared cryptic posts on love, which intensified the speculation and began a meme fest. But later, Urvashi clarified she was talking about her co-star, Ram Pothineni.
