Urvashi Rautela Shares Her Bathroom Video Was Leaked Intentionally, 'Unko Kuch..'

Bollywood actress, Urvashi Rautela took the internet by storm when in 2024 a bathroom scene from her movie, Ghuspaithiya went viral on social media. Urvashi has claimed that the video that got leaked was done intentionally, and permission from the actress was taken before it was leaked on social media.

Urvashi Rautela recollects how Ghuspaithiya makers took permission

Urvashi, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, said that Ghuspaithiya was an amazing movie and shared the reason behind the makers releasing her leaked bathroom clip. She claimed that the makers came to her crying, saying that their movie lacked in many aspects. Urvashi also said that the makers were in such high debt that they would have to sell off their land to find a solution. The star shared how the makers came begging to her to leak the scene. Urvashi said:

"Unko kuch debt aa gaya tha, aur kuch udhari wagairah mein. They had to let go of their land and all. Woh sadak pe aane wale the. And so, they came and discussed it with my business manager, head, and all.. And then, they took our permission ki woh movie ka scene tha, kuch aisa special nahi kiya tha humne. Woh movie ka hi scene tha. 

Urvashi also added that the makers particularly wanted the bathroom scene to be leaked. The motive behind the same was to create awareness and make women cautious about the same.

Urvashi Rautela's phone call with her manager leaked

For the unversed, a while back, Urvashi's clip went viral on social media where a recorded conversation of the actress with her manager was heard. The talk began with the actress asking her manager if he had seen the clip to which he said, "Yes, I did see and the team is trying to get it down from the internet." Urvashi could also be heard saying in the talk that she just does not understand how these things are going out. She needed to get on a call quickly.

The manager was also heard saying that the situation was sad and that she and Urvashi should avoid talking on the call. Urvashi's movie, Ghuspaithiya, the movie was written and directed by Susi Ganesan. The film is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie, Thiruttu Payale 2 (2017) that had the actress with Vineet Kumar Singh, Govind Namdev and Akshay Oberoi. The film was released on August 9, 2024 theatrically.

Many paps accounts had captioned the leaked audio clipping of the actress as, "Is phone tapped"? Her personal and private call with the manager had become viral in seconds. There were rumours that the actress was doing a PR stunt and that her team was involved in the same. She was also slammed by her fans, who claimed that she had done a publicity stunt, and this gesture did not gel well with the netizens.
