Now and again, Uorfi has left everyone in awe with her fashionable OOTDs, so much so, that at the Met Gala 2024, international celebrities were seen wearing outfits similar to a few of Uorfi's signature dresses. Recently, Uorfi decided to sell her iconic 3D butterfly dress for a price in crores, and reacting to this, netizens have created a meme fest in the comment section.
Taking to her IG handle, Uorfi Javed shared photos, wherein she looked gorgeous in her 3D-Butterfly dress. For the unversed, the gorgeousness first wore this dress back in May 2024 and left everyone in awe of it. The dress was strapless and black in colour. Moreover, on the lower portion of it, there were some floral appliques. But the main attraction of the dress was the flying butterflies around the flowers. Well, sharing the photos, Uorfi added that she would like to sell the dress in exchange for Rs. 3 crore 66 lakh 99 thousand. In her caption, Uorfi wrote:
"Hi my lovelies I’ve decided to sell my butterfly dress which was loved so much by everyone. Price - 36690000 rps only ( 3 crore 66 lakh 99 thousand only ). Interested people please DM."
As soon as Uorfi Javed shared the post on her IG handle about selling her gown for more than Rs. 3 crores, netizens rushed to the comment section and created a meme fest. Moreover, internet users remained shocked over the high price of the dress and started making jokes about the same. While some joked that the dress' price is equal to an apartment, others humorously asked if EMI is available.
One user commented, "EMI pe milega kya? I can pay interest in Motichoor Laddoos." Another user joked, "Bass 50 rs kam rah Gaye warna le leta." A third user wrote, "That’s sasta….you should double the price love." Another comment can be read as, "price thoda kam hain nahi toh zaroor kharid leta kisi na kisi k liye."

While Uorfi was not a part of the Met Gala 2024, it was her out-of-the-box OOTDs that were recreated at the event. To begin with, it was Lana Del Rey, who wore a spider web dress, which was somewhat similar to what Uorfi wore. Not only that, Amelia Gray was seen slaying in a very similar terrarium dress to what Uorfi Javed wore a long time ago and what was being called by netizens as solar system dress. At the Met Gala 2024, Cardi B wore a black-hued, layered high-fashion gown, and it also looked similar to Uorfi's blue-toned dress.
