'Udit Ki Pappi Toh Nai..' Udit Narayan BREAKS Silence On Kissing Female Fans On Lips During Concert

Udit Narayan, who is famously known for his soulful voice and making many fall in love with his songs, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The 69-year-old married singer left many in disgust after his video from a concert went viral. In the clip, he was seen kissing his female fans on lips, who came forward to click selfies with him. Now, after a month of facing harsh comments, Udit Narayan talked about the same.

Udit Narayan finally reacted to the viral video of him kissing female fans on the lips

Recently, Udit Narayan attended the trailer launch of the film, Pintu Ki Pappi. Surprisingly, he was seen in a jovial mood and took a funny dig at his own video by asking if it was Udit ki Pappi. The singer further talked about the co-incident and how the video went viral at this time. 

Udit Narayan claimed that the video was from two years ago when he went to a concert in Australia. He assured everyone that it was an old video. Later, he was seen congratulating the team for the film. Addressing the controversial kissing video, Udit Narayan said:

"Khoobsurat title hai 'Pintu Ki Pappi' aur 'Udit ki Pappi' toh nahi? Yeh bhi ek itefaak hai ki  yeh release hona tha, matlab 'mujhe'. Waise 2 saal pehle ka video hai Australia mein jo aap dekh rahe hai. Haan 2 saal pehle ka hai. Toh badhai data hoon aapko."

Udit Narayan was dressed up in a black suit with a white-hued crisp shirt underneath. He looked smart, but one cannot fail to notice the film's poster, which was on the backdrop, featuring the girls pouting. However, he looked a bit uncomfortable while talking about the video.

When Kunicka Sadanand came in support of Udit Narayan amid his kissing controversy

Recently, in an interview with Hindi Rush, Kunickaa Sadanand was asked to give her byte on Udit Narayan's lip kiss controversy. She jokingly said that Udit Narayan kissed, which was right, but he did it in the wrong place. She further claimed that it was an old video from two years back, but the interviewers clarified to her that it was a recent one. She was quoted as saying:

"Udit Narayan ji ne kiss kiya vo toh theek hai, par galat jagah kiya gaal par kar dete."

Kunickaa further sided with Udit and stated that the girl had also come forward, so why is everyone blaming the men? She further stated that people are questioning him just because he is a legend. Also, Kunickaa sided with Udit and stated that when an artist is on stage, they are on the next level high and with so much love and adulation, they often do some steps. She further added a lot of women will troll her and trash her. 

"Ladkiya bhi toh aayi saamne, apne kyo aadmi ko blame kar diya. Agar apki thali mein laddu saj ke aaye toh ap khayege nahi. Just because he is Udit Narayan, you are asking why you kissed?"
