He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and was discharged on November 12, 2025. Among the many media that reportedly spread the false death news involving Dharmendra was Aaj Tak. Now, there has been a death hoax surrounding Aaj Tak’s anchor, Anjana Om Kashyap.
The entire nation was shocked to here that the beloved hero of Bollywood, Dharmendra reportedly passed away at the age of 89. Now that the veteran actor has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at his home, there have been rumours that Aaj Tak’s anchor, Anjana Om Kashyap, has allegedly passed away. However, the reports seemed false, as the senior TV journalist has been quite active on social media.

Currently, she is facing extreme backlash on social media. For the unversed, Anjana, Aaj Tak’s anchor, reportedly spread the news of Dharmendra’s demise on November 11, 2025, which was immediately debunked by the Deol family. In fact, this false reporting also led the anchor into serious trouble, as a reel circulating online shows a man expressing grief in front of Anjana’s poster, wearing a funeral garland.

The rushed reports of Dharmendra allegedly passing away drew significant backlash from netizens. Soon after the reel featuring Anjana Om Kashyap’s poster with a funeral garland, many netizens reacted to it. A user wrote, "No, this is not done! Please stop this." Another user commented, "Yes, Sir, this seems equally incorrect as the earlier one. With due respect, two wrongs don’t make a right."

Anjana Om Kashyap was born and raised in Ranchi. Then she moved to Bihar. Her father, Om Prakash Tiwari, was a doctor who served in the Indian Army during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. Anjana was a bright student from childhood and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from the University of Delhi. She completed her postgraduation in Social Work.
She entered Journalism in the early 2000s, pursuing a diploma from Jamia Millia Islamia. She began her professional journey in Doordarshan, where she worked on an investigative show, Aankhon Dekhi. She then moved to Zee News within a year. Currently, she is the anchor of Aaj Tak and is widely known for her bold stance.
Coming to her personal life, Anjana is a doting wife and a mother. She is married to Mangesh Kashyap, an officer from the 1995 Delhi cadre of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Police Service. The duo fell in love during their college days. The couple welcomed two kids, a son and a daughter.

Coming to his personal life, Dharmendra has two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini. He has six kids, two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, two daughters, Vijayta Deol and Ajeeta Deol, from his first marriage and two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, from his second marriage. He has 13 grandchildren.
