In a recent interview with the Screen, he clarified that as a star kid, one must be ready to deal with criticism. He pointed out that regardless of success, there is frequently an attempt to minimise accomplishments and concentrate on flaws. On the other hand, he noted that outsiders are often praised, even for their meagre achievements.
"When you are somebody’s son or daughter, then you better be strong and tough. No matter how many hits you give, there is an effort to pull you down or try to highlight what you haven’t done more than what you have done. If you are not from the film world, even with very little achievement, people say ‘Wow, what have you done!"
Tusshar considered the difficulties that both industry insiders and outsiders encounter. He pointed out that although those from film families may have an easier time gaining a break because of their connections, the real difficulty arises after that. It involves establishing one's own network, putting on impressive performances, and demonstrating marketability.
Tusshar Kapoor added that insiders frequently come under more scrutiny and must demonstrate that their success is due to skill rather than privilege. Finally, he underlined that the audience ignores any prejudices in the industry and only cares about being amused. In his words:
"Getting a break is probably easier for film people because of the connections, but after that it’s about your own connections, how you make the movie, how you are on screen, and what your marketability is. Its definitely a bit harsher on insiders. We have to pass a number of tests to make people within the industry and otherwise believe that we are here because of our own talent. Audience doesn’t want to see these biases. They only want to get entertained."
The actor, Tusshar Kapoor, made his acting debut in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. He said in the same interview that his acting career has been filled with both good and difficult moments and that he is no different from other artists in this regard. In his words:
"There have been fluctuations. I wouldn't be here now if there hadn't been any downs or setbacks. That cycle is necessary since it is a component of your trip that aids in your own development. You simply get stronger so you can accomplish more. This field is not for you if you can't handle the ups and downs."
The Dhol actor admitted that the highs and lows were essential to his development, pointing out that he wouldn't have achieved his current position without them. He clarified that this cycle is crucial for both professional and personal growth, enhancing one's ability to persevere in the field. According to Tusshar, this sector might not be appropriate for people who are unable to cope with these swings.
