In an earlier interview with a leading media portal, Tulsi was quoted as saying, “It is an overwhelming feeling to become a mother. I know it sounds like a cliché, but really, you don’t know the feeling of being a parent, until you become one. That being said, I am so excited to get back to singing, both behind the mic and on the stage. I have missed it. Now that Shivaay has grown up a bit, and can travel with me, I’m ready to get back to work.” (Also Read: Bollywood Divas Who Took A Sabbatical After Embracing Motherhood At The Peak Of Their Careers)
On the professional front, Tulsi Kumar recently launched a song with Ban Ja Tu Meri Rani sensation, Guru Randhawa, and the doting mom was even spotted carrying her son around with her to the recordings. Tulsi has also got back into action, after a hiatus of roughly three to four months, and is lined up for many live shows. Tulsi revealed she is nervous about her ‘comeback’, “I will be doing six concerts [in and around the country]. I have to say I am feeling the jitters, because it is after a while that I’ll be doing live shows. Although it wasn’t a very long break, but it still feels like a comeback of sorts.” She further continued, “That’s because it is a completely different world, and I can connect with my fans, and do so much when I am performing live. So, I am a bit nervous, but it’s also exciting!”
Tulsi and Hitesh also took their son, Shivaay for the first time to Jaipur, which is Hitesh’s hometown, “It was a three-day trip. I came to Jaipur with Shivaay and Hitesh on Thursday from Delhi. This trip was very special as Shivaay was visiting his father’s hometown for the first time. Though because of the unpleasant weather, I couldn’t take him out, but it was an enjoyable trip. I was home most of the time, meeting a few of our close friends and relatives.” (Also Read: Pregnant Mira Is Missing Busy Shahid, Mommy-To-Be-Again Steals Extra Hugs From Misha)
Further opening up about how life changed after motherhood, Tulsi stated, “I think motherhood is a wonderful feeling. It changes your personality. I think I have become more responsible. And obviously, your world starts revolving around your baby. Even when I am recording songs at the studio or travelling for work, I first think of my baby and what he is up to. My hands are always on my phone to check what Shivaay is doing.”
Tulsi is spending most of her time with Shivaay, “While picking assignments, I am making sure that I don’t get overburdened with work and I can dedicate most of my time to Shivaay. This has completely been my decision. I feel what works for one new mom may not necessarily work for another, so it’s better to find one’s own path.”
Tulsi shared that she and Hitesh want to take Shivaay to Ajmer Sharif Dargah, “Soon after visiting Ajmer Sharif Dargah, I was blessed with a baby boy. So now, Hitesh and I have decided that we would take him to Ajmer Sharif Dargah when he turns a year old.”
We wish Tulsi Kumar and Hitesh Ralhan the best of time with their little one, Shivaay Ralhan!
