'Tu Yaa Main' Ending Explained, Do 'Avani' And 'Maruti' Escape The Crocodile Attack Or They Die?

Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor's latest romantic thriller film, Tu Yaa Main has finally hit the theatres. For the unversed, it was released on February 13, 2026, ahead of Valentine's Day. The romantic film, directed by Bejoy Nambiar revolves around a young social media influencer and an underground rapper. Amid the positive reviews from the audience, read on to know the ending of the movie, Tu Yaa Main.

What happens in Tu Yaa Main?

The film, Tu Yaa Main, opens in Mumbai and soon the viewers are introduced to two very different characters. One is 'Avani Shah' (played by Shanaya Kapoor), who is a famous social media influencer and enjoys thousands of followers. The other character is 'Maruti Kadam' a.k.a 'Aala Flowpara' (played by Adarsh Gourav), who is an underground rapper from Nalasopara. He dreams to make his music career big.

While 'Avani' and 'Maruti' are very different, the two meet when life forces them to collaborate on a social media project. What looks like a pure professional relationship soon turns personal when the two start liking each other. Slowly and gradually, 'Avani' and 'Maruti' fall in love. Things seem very good between the two until 'Avani' finds out that she is pregnant. 

This leaves 'Maruti' terrified as he thinks that he is not ready to become a father because he is not financially stable. The couple has multiple arguments; however, they decide to go to Goa to handle the situation in a better manner. Unfortunately, their journey gets disturbed and they end up staying at an old hotel. Soon, 'Avani' accidentally falls into a large pool, and things turn worse when its water gets drained out.

‘Avani’ and ‘Maruti’ are attacked by deadly crocodiles

After the water is drained out, 'Avani' finds herself trapped in the pool as it is very deep and there is no ladder to get out of it. Later, a crocodile from a nearby water source enters the hotel area through the drainage system. It first kills the hotel caretaker and the delivery boy, who came to deliver food to the couple. Then it enters the swimming pool. 

As soon as 'Maruti' sees this, he jumps into the pool to save 'Avani', but he gets trapped himself. On the other hand, a crocodile also kills 'Avani's' pet dog, who was tied nearby. Before the two could think of an escape, the situation turns worse as another deadly crocodile enters the swimming pool.

Tu Yaa Main ending: Who comes to save ‘Avani’ and ‘Maruti’?

In the middle of such a dangerous situation, 'Avani' finds the phone of the caretaker. She quickly grabs it and calls 'Inspector Tawde' for help. He soon reaches the place, but is killed by the crocodiles. Seeing this, 'Avani' and 'Maruti' realise that they need to find an escape themselves. As the film reaches its climax, 'Avani' gets hold of a gun and shoots the crocodiles. However, 'Maruti', who was bitten by the crocodile, is unable to escape. 'Avani' helps him and the two finally survive the danger. The film ends on a hopeful note. While the future of the baby isn't shown, the ending suggests that the couple went ahead with taking care of their baby together.
