Death Note revolves around 'Light Yagami', a high school student who wants to become a god. One day, 'Yagami' stumbles upon a notebook and soon realises that the notebook is a ‘Death Note’. The notebook is dropped into the human world by an actual god, and it possesses the power to kill the person whose name is written on it. Upon realising the notebook's power, 'Yagami' decides to put it to good use and eliminate all the evils from society. So, he kills criminals and all the people he perceives as evil with the help of the death note. Soon the law enforcement organisation notices the string of death and assigns a mysterious character, ‘L’, the responsibility for catching 'Yagami'. The rest of the series follows the duo outwitting each other. The anime, Death Note is available on Netflix and Crunchyroll.

#3. Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is adapted from a Japanese manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story focuses on 'Tanjiro' and his sister, 'Nezuko', the only two survivors after demons attack their family. 'Nezuko' slowly starts becoming a demon, and 'Tazjiro' sets out to cure her and become a demon slayer to avenge his family’s death. The anime's third season was recently released and was a massive hit worldwide. Each episode of Demon Slayer is power-packed and will not only make you laugh over the absurdity of the characters but also tear you up with its heavy topics of misfortune and family. Attack On Titan is the new anime causing a whirlwind in the animation industry. The anime started airing in 2013 and is based on a manga released in 2009. Eight years down, the amine wrapped up in 2021. The anime’s story revolves around man-eating 'Titans' who are separated from the human population with the help of massive walls. Trouble rings when two 'titans' break through the walls and enter the human settlement. The war between the Titans and humans is the initial main plot of the anime, but gradually, it becomes more than just a war anime. 'Eren Yeager' emerges as the anime's main character along with his friend 'Mikasa Ackerman'. This anime series is full of twists and cliffhangers that keep the viewers hooked on to it.
