According to a report by The Daily Mail, Timothee has broken up with his girlfriend of nearly two years, Kylie Jenner. An insider source revealed to the portal that this isn't the first time the actor has done this. Reportedly, Kylie is 'crazy about him' so she talked him into reconciling after he had broken up with her once before. Hence, the source also stated that even this time, the duo could patch things up again. However, another source shared with the same outlet that things aren't completely over. But Timothee does have a busy schedule, and Kylie is frustrated by doing all the 'chasing', hence they have hit a rough patch.
Timothee Chalamet's Vogue interview and Kylie Jenner's 28th birthday party snub
Although the recent rumours about their breakup have come as a shock to many, there were a few eagle-eyed netizens who had felt that something was amiss between Kylie and Timothee for a few months. The Dune actor had given a miss to Kylie's 28th birthday party, which was attended by all her loved ones. Star Magazine reported that the two were together, but Timothee was in Hungary filming at the time. However, the report had also suggested that Kylie was affected by the rumours that he was having a good time in Hungary after missing her birthday.
The news of the breakup came a few days after Timothee's Vogue interview was seen as a diss against Kylie. In an interview published on November 6, 2025, the actor shared that he had nothing to say when asked about the young billionaire. People found this answer very strange and took it as a hint that the two had quietly broken up. Timothee had said:
“And I don’t say that with any fear. I just don’t have anything to say."

According to numerous reports, Timothee and Kylie weren't on the same page when it came to the future of their relationship. When the breakup rumors first started after the birthday party snub, Star Magazine reported that Kylie wanted to move in together with Timothee to secure and cement their relationship. A source also revealed to the portal that she did not want to spook him by pressuring him to propose since Kylie knew that would drive him away. But the mother of two wanted reassurance from him.
Meanwhile, a report by the Globe said that Timothee had a 'non-committal attitude'. Kylie was also reportedly getting frustrated over this. However, since the makeup mogul believed that they were made for each other, she refused to take the first step of breaking up with him.
