This Bride Donned An Ivory 'Lehenga' And Sported A Glittery-Smokey Eyes For Her Wedding Day

Nowadays, brides want to create their own fashion statement on their most special day, and that's marriage. They do not follow or look for some inspiration to get ready for their D-day; they come up with their own creative ideas. Now, brides don't buy their wedding couture only in red or pink colour. It comes in many hues, shades, and many designs.

From planning the wedding venue to deciding what to wear to selecting the perfect jewellery set to choosing the photographers and videographers - the brides do it all. Modern brides are self-sufficient in every perspective. In a wedding, the bride has always been the centre of attraction. So why choose basic when she can choose something extraordinary?

That's when we came across our bride, Tamanna Wahi, who dazzled like a daisy on her wedding ceremonies in a subtle yet royal makeup look. She gleamed with joy in the pictures as she was marrying the man of her dreams, and her million-dollar smile is to die for.

The bride

Bride

Let's meet our bubbly, chirpy bride, Tamanna Wahi, who is an RJ by profession and hails from UAE. She had organised everything for her wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies in just 3 weeks and planned the whole wedding in Delhi, India. In her words, “Planning a COVID wedding in India (in 3 weeks) while staying in UAE was quite a challenge but we made through it. Our wedding was to be in October in Jodhpur but we wanted to avoid the possible hit of the 3rd wave.”

It was surely tough, but nothing seems like a hurdle if your partner supports you. And that's what happened to our bride, Tamanna. Her husband-to-be, Akhil Tandon had stood by her side in every decision like a pillar of strength.

But, we couldn't keep our eyes off the handsome groom, Akhil. He had donned a royal blue bandhgala sherwani suit, black skin-fit trousers, and black loafers. He complemented his wife's couture with perfection.

The Big Day

The wedding day looked like a fairy tale. In front of close-knit family and friends, Tamanna and Akhil had tied the sacred marital knot with each other and promised to stay together forever.

Tamanna

Bride

The bride had looked stunning in an ivory coloured lehenga choli embellished with mirrors and sequins. Her scallop designed dupatta definitely was a show stealer but what we loved the most was her beautiful makeup done by Chaitali Sengupta. Tamanna had completed her look with high-defined brows, brown smokey and light glittery eyes, toned cheeks, and nude glossy lips. Her pearl-beaded kundan jewellery set, two-tiered traditional kaleeras, and her million-dollar smile had not been missed.

Groom

The groom complemented his wife by wearing an ivory-hued bandhgala double-layered embroidered sherwani suit. He had completed the look with a white pagdi, a gorgeous emerald studded brooch, a two-tiered emerald stone beaded neckpiece, and juttis. He had looked dapper in his wedding couture.

Bride

A person generally ties a marital knot once in his/her life. So, the wedding is the most gala event in one's life, and that is why every minute needs to be captured to cherish lifelong. Novella Tales had captured every candid moment with love and perfection. The decor had a beautifully traditional and vintage vibe that helped to enhance the essence of their wedding even more.

Do you think the couple, Tamanna and Akhil, had looked like an Indian princess and prince?
