The stunning diva, Adah Sharma is a renowned Indian film actress, who has predominantly worked in South Indian and Bollywood films so far in her career. Adah made her acting debut back in 2008 when she left the audiences stunned with her performance in the critically-acclaimed Hindi horror film, 1920. The actress’ hometown is in Palakkad, Kerala. Once in an interview with a news portal, Adah admitted that she has roots in Kerala, as she confirmed that her mother is a Palakkad Brahmin.
The Kerala Story actress, Adah Sharma has completed her schooling from Auxilium Convent High School in Bandra, Mumbai. The actress left her studies after completing 12th and pursued her dream to become an actress. While some hailed the actors and makers of the film, a section of critics and netizens slammed the movie and termed it as ‘propaganda’ and ‘anti-Islam’. Despite a lot of criticism on the internet, the film’s director, Sudipto Sen remained calm, but it was the film’s leading actress, Adah Sharma, who gave it back to the trolls.
On May 6, 2023, Adah Sharma took to her Twitter handle and posted a picture from a scene from her film, The Kerala Story. In the picture, Adah could be spotted wearing a burqa and could be seen holding a baby in her arms. However, it was her note in the tweet that created a fresh controversy on the internet. The actress slammed the people, who were questioning the reality of the events shown in the film. Adah told people to Google two words, ISIS and brides if they’re willing to know the truth. An excerpt from her tweet could be read as:
"Google two words ISIS and Brides...maybe an account of white girls narrated to you might make you feel that our Indian movie is real."

During the election rally in Karnataka, PM Narendra Modi lauded the movie for uncovering the ‘ugly truth of terrorism’ in the beautiful state of Kerala. However, the PM also admitted that he’s disappointed with the people, who are opposing the film.
As soon as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s take on The Kerala Story went live, it was the film’s leading actress, Adah Sharma, who thanked the PM for his kind words.
