'The Family Man 3' Ending Explained, Did 'Srikant Tiwari' Defeat 'Rukma' Or Died In A Car Crash?

After a long wait, Manoj Bajpayee has returned as 'Srikant Tiwari' in the third season of the popular show, The Family Man, which is out on Amazon Prime Video. For the unversed, 'Srikant' is a middle-class father who works as a top-secret TASC officer. But this time, 'Srikant' is on a run, and he has to be careful from threats. Well, amid the buzz around the show, take a look at how The Family Man Season 3 ends and will there be a fourth season or not. 

Plotline of The Family Man Season 3

The Family Man Season 3 begins with 'Srikant Tiwari' and his wife, 'Suchi', who are facing troubles in their marriage and plan to head for a divorce. Their children are also facing bullying and online threats, which adds more stress. And before 'Srikant' is able to solve his family issues, he has to return for a dangerous mission. 

The government is working on a peace plan called Project Sahakar, but not everyone is in support of it. So, to stop the mission, 'Rukma' (Jaideep Ahlawat) is hired to destroy it. And he managed to kill the key leaders of the mission. However, things take a dark turn when 'Srikant' enters. Soon, 'Rukma' kills 'Srikant's' mentor, which makes this mission a personal battle for 'Srikant'.

Does ‘Srikant Tiwari’ die towards the end of The Family Man Season 3?

As 'Srikant' has now taken the mission personally, he dives deeper into the investigation and he realises that there is a mole in the system, who is leaking information to the enemy. Soon, he is suspended and blamed for actions he didn't do and now he is both a spy and a suspect. Despite all odds, 'Srikant' continues to uncover the truth, while making sure his family is safe. 

But, the threat reaches his home as his wife and children are taken by people, who are disguised as police officers. After knowing this, 'Srikant' takes help of his loyal teammates to take care of his family and at that time, 'Srikant' continues to chase 'Rukma'. During his hunt, he also crosses paths with 'Michael' (Vijay Sethupathi from Farzi), who helps him find 'Rukma'. 

Towards the end of The Family Man Season 3, 'Srikant Tiwari' manages to rescue a group of people, who were captured by 'Rukma'. However, 'Rukma' escapes and 'Srikant's' car crashes into a tree. And the show ends there, without giving any idea if 'Srikant' is alive or not. However, it looks like the makers won't kill the fan-favourite character. 

Will there be a Season 4 of The Family Man?

As per the clues given by makers of the show, it can be said that there are chances of them returning with another season. Towards the end of the show, viewers will be left with a couple of questions, including 'Srikant's' condition after the car crash, 'Rukma's' next plan after escaping from 'Srikant'. Apart from this, the incident between 'Suchi' and 'Arvind' that happened in Lonavala still remains unresolved.  If the makers return with Season 4, fans can expect the chase between ‘Rukma’ and ‘Srikant’ to continue but with higher stakes.
