The eponymous bridal wear collection can glamorize the overall attire of any bridal couple while “OTT by Timex” is a collection of ready to wear watches, perfect for multipurpose uses such as gifting to friends, family members and relatives. Tarun’s designs have added a starry jewel crusted bling to the watches from Timex that boast of high-end functionality. They are simply awe-inspiring, much like the bridal designs of the ace couturier. Speaking on the occasion, Tahilani said that the collection is very precious and special for him. One aspect that he kept in mind all the while creating new designs was that the watches must represent the timelessness, which is synonymous with the beauty and virtue of an Indian woman, in particular the Bride.
V.D. Wadhwa bestowed a rather interesting compliment Tarun, crediting him with knowing the Indian woman, her nuances and moods and her choice of expression in every way possible. He said that the main strategy behind this collaboration was to reach out to the heart of Indian women and create a niche for the watches and the Timex Group.
Presently, Tarun has designed 14 watches in the bridal watch collection, every design an ode to the beauty and charisma of a Bride. Bejeweled with diamonds, gold, pearls and Jadau, these watches are suited to the traditional, contemporary and modern chic bride- there is something for everyone.
Tarun Tahilani signature stores and select outlets of Timex Watches will sell these exclusive bridal watches, starting this December.
