'The Blind Side' Fame, Quinton Aaron Will Soon Be Out Of ICU, How Is He Doing Currently After Fall?

The Blind Side fame, Quinton Aaron, left his family and fans worried after he was hospitalised due to a terrible fall at his home. According to multiple reports, the American actor suffered a spinal stroke. Following this, a GoFundMe had been set up for the 41-year-old actor. Earlier, in February 2026, reports claimed that the actor was emotionally disturbed as he got to know his wife, Margarita, was allegedly married to someone else. According to a report by TMZ, Quinton Aaron is doing well healthwise. The tracheal tube that helped him breathe has been removed. In fact, the doctors are also planning to move him out of the ICU. The Blind Side star can now talk, have his favourite juices and even practice his singing. Now that he is off life support for a while, he’s looking forward to staying single and focusing on his goals. The same outlet reported that Quinton felt like God gave him a second chance at life after he survived the health scare. The American actor is still raising money through his official GoFundMe page and needs to raise USD 14K for his recovery.

What had happened to Quinton Aaron for which he was admitted to the hospital?

Earlier, this year, on January 27, 2026, multiple reports surfaced claiming that Quinton Aaron had a terrible fall at his home, for which he had been hospitalised. At the time, his now-estranged wife, Margarita told TMZ that The Blind Side actor had a blood infection. Back then, Quinton had undergone several medical tests to find out what led to the infection. Often, the American actor used to wake up with soreness in his body and on the day of his fall, he had similar soreness.

However, Margarita thought the soreness was due to poor sleep. However, later, Quinton reportedly attempted to climb the stairs, and then, he lost control of his legs, leading to his terrible fall. Following this, The Blind Side star was admitted to the hospital. On the way, he was slipping in and out of consciousness, and thus he was put on life support. After three to four days, Quinton’s family, through a statement, revealed how he was doing. According to a report by TMZ, Quinton suffered a spinal stroke. An excerpt of the statement can be read as:

"We acknowledge that you’ve heard about Quinton Aaron‘s condition. We appreciate the overwhelming love, support and prayers that Quinton has received over the past few days from his fans, the public, and our concerned community. To update everyone, he had a spinal stroke. He is alert, aware and recovering.....To be clear, any other information that you hear pertaining to Quinton’s health from any other source that isn’t coming directly from his official blood relative family, that will come in the form of their appointed chosen spokesperson and lifelong friend Liana Mendoza, is not to be taken as factual information."
