'Tell Me Lies' Fame, Grace Van Patten Teases Season 3, Here Is What To Expect From The Drama Series

Tell Me Lies is an American drama television series created by Meaghan Ippenheimer. The show is based on the 2018 novel by Carola Lovering, Tell Me Lies. The series was released on Hulu in September 2022 and stars some of the well-known names in the industry, including Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis. Season two for the show was renewed in September 2024, and now the lead of the show, Grace, has hinted at the return of the series with Season 3. 

Grace Van Patten hints at the return of Tell Me Lies Season 3

Grace Van Patten isn't telling any lies when it comes to her show, Tell Me Lies. The Hulu series has been winning hearts of its fans for two seasons and now will be back for season three. The show's season 2 ended in an extremely shocking finale in October 2024. However, while the makers had announced the return of Tell Me Lies Season 3 in December 2024, fans were getting impatient as there were no updates on what's next. Now, the star teased what fans can expect from the upcoming episodes. 

Grace Van Patten was attending the premiere of The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox on August 19, 2025, when, in a conversation with E! News, the lead revealed that the upcoming season is going to be absolutely crazy. The actress plays the role of 'Lucy' in the show, and fans have been eager to see her back in the shoes of 'Stephen DeMarco's' love interest. She was quoted as saying:

"It’s gonna be crazy. It feels like the peak of all these young people’s worst decisions."

What to expect from Tell Me Lies Season 3?

The biggest question for the fans has been what to expect from Tell Me Lies Season 3. Well, luckily, they won't have to wait much longer. For the unversed, fans of the series may find it hard to believe that things could get any worse after Jackson White's 'Stephen DeMarco', whose eight-year on-and-off relationship with 'Lucy' is the heart of the plot. However, things get further out of hand as 'Bree' (Catherine Missal) receives quite an incriminating audio file on the day of her wedding, wreaking havoc between her, her bridesmaid 'Lucy' and groom 'Evan' (Branden Cook). 

As the couple is living out a nightmare romance on screen, Grace emphasised to E! News that Jackson, whom she is dating in real life as well, has been nothing but a 'dream'. In fact, he was right by her side at the premiere of the Twisted Tale, in which she portrays Amanda Knox, who was wrongfully convicted of murder in Italy in 2009. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how the series unfolds in the upcoming season.
