Tejasswi Prakash Reveals Her Family Asked Her To Move-In With Karan Kundrra 'My Parents Were Sure..'

Live-in arrangements between couples before marriage was seen as a taboo in India. People prefer to be silent about it, but in recent years, celebrities in the film and television industry have been vocal about it unapologetically. At the same time, fans have appreciated their honesty, and the recent celebrity to join the list is Bigg Boss 15 winner, Tejasswi Prakash. She has been in a relationship with her beau, Karan Kundrra, for four years and recently opened up about their live-in arrangement. Here's what she said.

Tejasswi Prakash reveals her parents encouraged her to move with Karan Kundrra 

Tejasswi Prakash recently sat down for a conversation with Humans Of Bombay and opened up about her live-in arrangement with her boyfriend, Karan Kundrra. After the revelation about the duo living together made headlines a few days ago, Tejasswi shared that her parents asked her to live with Karan after her last breakup. They wanted her to be sure about her relationship and future with Karan before the actress decided to take any major step. In her words:

"That was especially after my last breakup, and my parents were sure that I did. (Laughs). You have to live baaki kisi ka we don't know, you better be sure because you are very fickle. My family was very sure that Karan and I lived together, and so were his parents."

The Celebrity MasterChef finalist shared that her live-in arrangement with Karan Kundrra is not complete because she occasionally lives with him. Since she hails from Maharashtra, she has ensured she bought a home in Mumbai and lives there. But whenever she wants to relax, she goes to his home, and they stay there. She said:

"First of all, it's not a complete live-in situation because I'm not from a different state and live on rent. I'm a Mumbaikar and have a house in Mumbai, so whenever I have a shoot closer to my house, I live there. Whenever I have some work, I stay at my place, and whenever I want to chill, I stay at his. So his house is in Bandra, and mine is in Goregaon. If my work is in Filmcity, I stay at my place. If it's closer to Bandra, I will stay at his house."

Tejasswi Prakash shares her views on marriage with Karan Kundrra 

Previously, during a Holi special episode on Celebrity MasterChef, Tejasswi Prakash's mother confirmed to host, Farah Khan that the actress will tie the knot in 2025. It left the actress stunned, and later, Karan Kundrra brushed it off. Now, Tejasswi reacted and shared that she and Karan are already like husband and wife. Consequently, they will legally get married only when they want to start a family.

Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra are popular actors on Indian Television. They met a few times before they both participated in Bigg Boss 15. The duo soon gradually became friends and fell in love with the whole country. Fans have admired them since then, and fans cherish every heartfelt moment between them on the show to date. When the show ended, several people felt they might part ways, but in contrast, the duo has been strong together and mingled well with each other's families. Recalling the moment she fell in love with Karan, Tejasswi Prakash said on Celebrity MasterChef:

"We met on a reality show. It was during a Diwali sequence. We danced and went towards each other to wish Happy Diwali, but something had just happened. Yes! I'm not kidding. Everyone around us was busy exchanging greetings, but for five minutes, we just stood still."
