TCS Employee Commits Suicide, Blames Wife In Last Video Before Hanging Himself: Says, 'Mummy Sorry'

A TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) employee from Agra took the drastic step of ending his life. On February 24, 2025, Manav Sharma hanged himself from his home's ceiling fan and left a last harrowing video wherein he blamed his wife. He even revealed how he is ending his life after facing harassment from his wife for the past year.

Before taking the extreme step, Manav Sharma recorded a heartwrenching emotional video of seven minutes, which his family later found on his phone. In the clip, he cried and pleaded with people to think about men. He blamed his wife for ending his life. He also apologised to his parents for this shocking step. 

A piece of cloth was wrapped around Manav's neck, around his neck, and another one was tied to the fan as Sharma recorded his final video. He even addressed the authorities and stated how laws should be there to protect men. Sharing his difficult situation, Manav revealed that he found out that his wife was sleeping with someone else.

Manav was quoted as saying:

"So, this is for the authorities. Authorities as in police and law enforcement… The law needs to protect men, or otherwise there will come a time when there will be no men left. No man on whom you can shift blame….Let me share my situation. It’s the same as many others… I found out that my wife was sleeping with someone else. But never mind, let it be."

After this, tears started rolling down his face, and he stated that he was ready to go home, but he wanted people to think about men and talk about them in these strange times. He revealed how men are extremely lonely. Further, he left a message for his parents, apologised to them, and stated that they should understand that this is the only way things would be fine. He said:

"Dad sorry, Mummy sorry… But guys please understand, as soon as I go, everything will be fine. Everything will get better once I die. So, let me go…"

In his video, the techie added that he is still figuring out how to die. He accepted that he has always been a quitter and had tried to attempt suicide several times, as he showed the scars on his wrist from his past attempts. Lastly, he said:

"I have always been a quitter. I have attempted suicide multiple times.. Don’t touch my parents. Okay then, peace out."

TCS employee's father shared details about his son's troubled marriage

According to a report by ETV Bharat, TCS employee, Manav Sharma's father, Narendra Kumar Sharma, revealed that he was his only son and was a recruitment manager. He revealed that before deciding to end his life, Manav travelled from Mumbai to Agra with his wife and dropped her off at her parents' home. He clearly stated that they had a troubled marriage with threats of filing false cases from his wife.
