Taylor said that she should have known something was off, as Travis was pacing around the house, saying that his heart was racing. Taylor mentioned that Travis even installed blackout drapes on every window in his house. Taylor shared that she had never seen Travis that nervous. Earlier, on his podcast, Travis said that his hands were shaking, and as he is an emotional person, tears were actually present. Well, Taylor could be quoted as saying:

"I should’ve known something was off. He was pacing around the house, saying his heart was racing, and he even installed blackout drapes on every single window. I’d never seen this dude nervous. He’s a professional non-nervous person."

For the unversed, Travis Kelce turned his garden into a magical land, straight out of Taylor Swift's songs, and oh boy, the glimpses left us in awe. In an interview with ABC 5, Travis's father, Ed Kelce, discussed his son's engagement. He said that Taylor Swift actually got engaged back on August 10, 2025. He also shared details about how his son was preparing to pop the question, revealing that he suggested to Travis that he should propose to his ladylove wherever it would feel special, even if it were on the side of the road.

Ed Kelce further shared that his son and Taylor were about to leave for dinner when the NFL star suggested they go for a glass of wine, and that was the moment when he popped the question to his lady love. After their engagement, the couple FaceTimed their family members and shared the news. It was on August 26, 2025, when Swift and Kelce took to their social media handles and, in a collaborative post, shared some adorable photos from their dreamy engagement ceremony.
