'It Hurt A Lot..' Tara Sutaria Once Talked About Breakup With Ex-Aadar While He Called It 'Timepass'

Tara Sutaria made her silver screen debut with Karan Johar's film, Student Of The Year 2 in 2019. Since then, there has been no looking back, her career perspective opened, and she got challenging roles in films like Ek Villian Returns, Apurva and many more. Around the same time, reports of her dating Aadar Jain made rounds. After being together for almost four years, they parted ways. Now, as Aadar Jain has moved on in life and got married to Alekha Advani, Tara's old interview talking about their breakup surfaced.

Tara Sutaria talked about her breakup with Aadar Jain

Before moving on with Alekha Advani, Aadar Jain was always spotted with Tara Sutaria. From public events to family gatherings, they were inseparable. However, they parted ways in 2023. Earlier, in an interview with Filmfare, Tara talked about her breakup with Aadar. She revealed that she gets extremely attached, and it hurts a lot to let go of someone.

Tara revealed that she wouldn't lie, but it hurt her. However, she understands people don't feel the same. She stated that if someone wanted to be with her, they would simply be. She was quoted as saying:

"Once I’m attached to someone, it hurts a lot to let go of that. It did hurt. I’m not going to lie, it did hurt. But you have to learn that not everybody feels the amount you feel, and that’s okay. You can’t trust your opinions on anyone. If someone really wants to be in your life, they’ll be in your life. I’ve realised, because of my own experiences, there was a time when I’d give more impetus to the person I was with than a friendship."

Aadar Jain took an ugly dig at his past relationship by calling it 'timepass' in his wedding speech for Alekha Advani

To be in love is beautiful, but dismissing your past relationship and calling it 'timepass' is highly unacceptable. Aadar Jain faced public wrath after, in his wedding speech for Alekha, he revealed that he had always been in love with her and was doing timepass for the past twenty years. He said:

"I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass"

He continued his speech and stated that he finally got the opportunity to be with her. For those who don't know, Aadar was previously in a relationship with actress Tara Sutaria, and they were quite serious about each other, but they broke up. Later, he began dating Alekha. Aadar said: 

"At the end of the day, it was worth it because I get to marry this (points to Alekha) beautiful, beautiful woman who looks like a dream. And I love you, and it was worth the wait. So that is the secret: I have always loved her. I was just doing time pass for the past 20 years of my life. But now I am here with you, baby."
