In the recent live feed of Bigg Boss 19, a new controversy hit after Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri made insensitive comments about actress Ashnoor Kaur’s eating habits and body weight, and faced massive backlash over their remarks.
The tiff between Tanya and Ashnoor doesn't seem to end anytime soon. In the viral clip, best friends Tanya and Neelam, along with Kunickaa, were seen discussing Ashnoor’s body type and overall fitness. The conversation escalated as they criticised Ashnoor’s outfit during Weekend Ka Vaar, calling it 'unflattering.' They even joked that the outfit Ashnoor was wearing would have looked better on one of them.
Tanya called her, "Fugge jaisa mooh lekar ghoom rahi hai,” while Amaal said she looks like an egg. Neelam went on to say, “Dadi lag rahi hai”. Shehbaaz also commented Ashnoor's weight saying, “Itni exercise lagati hai, moti hi rehti hai.” In another clip, Tanya, Neelam, and Kunickaa were seen sitting together at the dining table, discussing her eating habits. Tanya said she is a child and doesn’t know what to eat, to which Kunickaa said, “meri 13 saal ki poti ko bhi pata hai kya khanna chahiye kya nahi.”

Within minutes, the clip spread on social media, and fans expressed their anger over the remarks. Tanya and Neelam have been accused of crossing the line and body-shaming Ashnoor, who is just 21 years old. The netizens expressed their anger and called out all the contestants who were seen body-shaming Ashnoor. Fans of Bigg Boss 19 flooded the comment sections with strong reactions.

The reel-life sibling of Ashnoor, Rohan Mehra, called out the trio for body-shaming Ashnoor Kaur in Bigg Boss 19, demanding action from the show. Taking to social media, Rohan expressed his outrage, writing, “Body shaming is unacceptable… Respect and kindness should be the bare minimum. Shame on you!” His post quickly went viral, with fans praising him for speaking up and calling for stricter action against the offenders.
