Tanuj Virwani is an Indian actor and model. He has been featured in web series like Inside Edge, Code M, and Poison among others. Tanuj is the son of veteran Bollywood actress, Rati Agnihotri, and businessman, Anil Virwani. The couple, who once seemed to be in love, faced a lot of ups and downs in their marital life. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tanuj shared important details about his parents' separation and their current bond.
Rati Agnihotri married Anil Virwani in 1985. In 2015, the couple went through a rough patch when they were involved in a legal case against each other and went ahead for a divorce. Rati Agnihotri had levelled domestic abuse charges against Anil Virwani. In the recent interview, Tanuj revealed that the issues between his parents shouldn't have gone public. He was quoted as saying:
"Uss time pe mummy papa ke beech issues chal rahe jo, unfortunately, public bane. Jo mere hisab se it should never become public because it is what it is."

Tanuj revealed that everyone, including his parents, had tried to mend the situation. Moreover, after their separation, the couple has been seen together during family vacations and other outings. Rati Agnihotri and Anil Virwani continue to maintain a cordial bond.
In the same interview, Tanuj added that he made efforts to improve his relationship with his parents. The actor shared that after a certain age, a son becomes more like a friend to his parents. Tanuj feels that every relationship has its ups and downs. However, the issues between his parents became public because his mother, Rati Agnihotri, has been a successful actress which drew attention. The Code M actor feels that the good part is that his family stays together after everything. In his words:
"But obviously I was in my 20's at that time and I had not even achieved much in my career. So it was like you were trying to prove yourself and simultaneously, these things were going on, so it was disturbing. But now it's okay."

Tanuj made his Bollywood debut with the film, Luv U Soniyo in 2013. He has worked in films like Purani Jeans, One Night Stand, and Yodha. Tanuj has found more success in web series like Inside Edge, Poison, Code M, Illegal - Justice, Out of Order, The Tattoo Murders, and Cartel, among others.
