Tamar Braxton 'Almost Died' Two Days Ago, Friend Found Her In A 'Pool Of Blood', Can't Talk Anymore

Tamar Braxton is recovering from a near-death experience, which has changed her life significantly. The singer took to her social media and shared about the tragic incident that happened a few days ago. While she didn't share what caused the incident, her story has left the fans concerned for her health.

Tamar Braxton suffers serious injuries

Tamar Braxton is suffering from serious injuries after she met with a terrible accident. The singer took to her Instagram stories and shared the same on August 19, 2025 (ET). She revealed that she had suffered from a terrifying accident over the weekend. Sharing the details of what happened, Tamar shared that she almost died on August 17, 2025, and was found in a pool of her own blood by her friend with facial injuries. She was quoted as saying:

"I struggled to write this, but everyone keeps calling me, and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore. I'm so weak. I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury."

In the same note, Tamar Braxton added that as days go by, she only gets worse. The singer revealed that she fractured her nose and even lost some teeth in the fall. However, she doesn't know what caused her fall. Tamar concluded by asking her fans to pray for her. The singer added the song, Spirit Lead Me by Clavier, in the background of her Instagram post. She was quoted as saying:

"As the days go by, the worse it isI fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins… pray for me, for I really don't even know what happened to me."

Tamar Braxton is grateful to God for waking her up

After sharing the news about the tragedy, Tamar Braxton reposted a page of the Bible on her Instagram Stories showing Proverbs 31, which is a passage about strong women. Hours before she opened up about the incident, Tamar had also posted a quote to her Instagram stories, where she expressed gratitude for waking up.

"Thank you, God, for waking me up today."

She announced her tour on March 23, 2025, alongside a video of her singing her 2013 hit, Stay and Fight. Tamar recently appeared on TV when she teamed up with her sisters on the WEtv reality series, The Braxtons, which aired in 2024. She was joined by sister Toni, Trina, Towanda and the matriarch of the family, Dr. Evelyn 'Miss E' Braxton, on the show as a way to honour their sister Traci, who died in 2022 from oesophagal cancer.
