The duo worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. While Taha Shah played the role of 'Tajdar,' Pratibha played the role of 'Shama' in SLB's series. Pratibha also garnered much attention for her excellent performance in Laapataa Ladies. However, recently, the duo was spotted together, and it left people wondering if there's something brewing between them.
Recently, a video of Taha Shah Badussha and Pratibha Ranta surfaced online. In the video, the duo can be seen exiting a restaurant. Pratibha and Taha Shah posed together for the paps, and they can be seen delighted. After the photo session, the duo stepped into the same car and left the place. For the day, Taha Shah was decked in a white-hued ribbed t-shirt, which he teamed with jeans.

There's no denying the fact that with his jaw-dropping acting performance in Heeramandi, Taha Shah has won the hearts of his fans, and he was declared as the 'new crush'. While his female fanbase has been going gaga over the actor, and has been wanting to know his relationship status. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Taha Shah revealed that he is single and mentioned that last year, he was in a relationship, but it didn't go well. The actor shared that his ex-ladylove had left him, and he was left heartbroken, which took a toll on his emotional being as well. Taha added that after such an incident, the role of 'Tajdar' came into his life.

In an interview with Rediff.com, Pratibha Ranta revealed how she bagged the role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi. The actress revealed that SLB had been looking out for an actress who could fit in the role of 'Shama' for over a year. However, later, Pratibha sent her audition clip to the director and he instantly liked it and that's how she bagged the role. She shared that SLB is only strict during working hours, and for the rest of the time, he was extremely sweet.
