Swara Bhaskar Reveals Her Father In Law Suffered Brain Hemorrhage, Requests Fans To Pray For Him

Swara Bhaskar is a popular Bollywood actress, who is well-known for her role in films like Veere Di Wedding and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The actress was last seen in the TV reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga, along with her husband, Fahad Ahmad. Well, now the actress shared a heartbreaking news on her social media, revealing that her father-in-law has suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage and the entire family is with him in this tough time. 

Swara Bhaskar’s father-in-law has undergone a surgery

On November 30, 2025, Swara Bhaskar took to her Instagram handle to share the heartbreaking news with her fans. In her post, she mentioned that her husband’s father suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage late at night of November 29, 2025, and he went through an operation the next morning. She also requested her fans to pray for him and shared that she won’t be available on social media for a few days. Her note can be read as:

"Fahad’s father, my father-in-law had a brain hemorrhage last night and was operated on early this morning. We are attending to this unfortunate family emergency and will be unavailable for some days. Please keep uncle in your prayers."

Swara Bhaskar returned to TV after 2.5 years with Pati Patni Aur Panga

For those who don’t know, Swara Bhaskar and her husband, Fahad Ahmad were recently seen on the reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga, which had its grand finale on November 16, 2025. A day after the show ended, the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress penned a long note on her Instagram handle. A part of it can be read as:

"Dhamaal with Pati Patni aur Panga was my first on camera work 2.5 years after pregnancy and delivery. To be honest, I agreed to the show primarily because the shoot schedule was manageable and it seemed like an easy step back to work. I came to the show with a lot of skepticism, zero expectations and no knowledge about the co-contestants. I’d even say I was cynical about it all."

She continued to reveal that even though she wasn’t sure in the beginning, the reality show, hosted by Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre turned out to be a blessing for her. Swara Bhaskar further stated that even though she is upset that the show has ended, she will always cherish the memories she created on set. Her post can be read as:

"This show now feels like a sign from the universe for me in my post partum phase of being unsure of whether and how to get back to work. PPP has shown me a path in this newish mom blur! I’m sad this show has ended (for now!) but I walk on with a heart full of gratitude and a kind with some clarity; cherishing all the love & blessings."

Reportedly, Swara and Fahad met in 2020, and they soon bonded over shared interests and values. After staying friends for a while, the duo started dating. In January 2023, the couple got married. Since then, Swara has often shared glimpses from her married life on her social media. In 2023, the couple welcomed their little angel, Raabiyaa. After which, Swara took a break from acting to be there for her husband and their child.
