Not long after Sushmita Sen penned a heartfelt note on her younger daughter, Alisah Sen’s birthday, the Taali actress shared another beautiful video on her social media handle, this time on the special occasion of her elder daughter’s 25th birthday. The actress also penned a heartfelt note for her.
As Renee Sen turned 25 on September 4, 2024, her mother, Sushmita Sen, took to her Instagram handle to post a beautiful video of her daughter. The post included special moments of Renee with her maa and sister throughout the 25 years of her life.

Sushmita began the birthday wish by expressing how Renee was her ‘love at first sight’. Sushmita added the song, Sacrifice, by Elton John in the video and mentioned that the song is extremely close to her heart. She wrote:
“Happyyyyy Birthday my first love @reneesen47. And my love at first sight!!! This song will forever play in my heart…carrying you…humming along…waiting ever so impatiently, for you to call me “Maa”. I thank God, for gifted me YOU!!! Beyond precious you remain!!! Sooooo sooooo proud of you & all your accomplishments…and it’s only just begun!!! I love you shonaa!!!”
The video started with a selfie of Renee and continued to show the special moments she had with her mother and sister. In one photograph, the mother-daughter duo can be seen hugging each other when Renee was a child. Simultaneously, in another picture, Renee was seen posing next to her little sister.

Meanwhile, Sushmita also gave us a glimpse of the cover photograph of Femina magazine, where she held baby Renee close to her. The video ended with a stunning picture where the mother-daughter duo could be seen enjoying their time together. Renee called her mom god’s greatest blessing in the post’s comment section. She wrote:
“You are God’s greatest blessing Maa. Thank you for this magical life. Happy 25th birthday to you too Maa.”
After winning the Femina Miss India award at 18, Sushmita Sen also won the Miss Universe 1994 pageant. She is known for her memorable performances in movies and shows like Main Hoon Na, Biwi No. 1, Aankhen, Aarya, and Taali. The actress became a single and independent mom in Bollywood when she adopted both Renee and Alisah in 2000 and 2010 respectively. Although she went through great difficulty during the adoption process, fans adore her courage and call her the best single mom.
