Sushant Singh Rajput's Girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty's Lawyer Wants CBI To Close The 'Bogus Case'

On June 14, 2020, popular actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had passed away in a mysterious way which is still being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). But now his girlfriend and Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde has requested the investigative agency to close the case and declare the result of their research and findings. For the uninitiated, it was on July 28, 2020, when Sushant's father, Krishna Kishore Singh had filed an FIR and had accused his son's girlfriend of abetment to suicide, alleging that she had cheated him financially and had also tortured him mentally. After which, Rhea Chakraborty was kept in custody for almost a month and later, was released by the High Court on bail. Now, after all these weeks and wait, Rhea's lawyer, Satish asked some serious questions from the CBI regarding their investigation. Scroll down to know it!

In an interview with The Times Of India, Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde talked about CBI's investigation in late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and asked why they're taking such a long time to deliver the final conclusion in the case. He said, "I welcome the Statement of Shri Anil Deshmukh, HM Govt of Maharashtra calling for the CBI to make the report public in the case of death of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is more than Six months since SSR Died. I have always said that the Truth will remain the same whoever investigates the Case. Whatever may be the Circumstances, the CBI should come out with its findings after 4 months of investigations by the Premier investigating agency of the country."

Going further in his interview, Satish Maheshinde also recalled the time, when his client, Rhea Chakraborty's name was popped-up in the case and how everyone had become super-active and were investigating the case to find out the truth. He recalled, "A huge and cry was made when the Mumbai Police took about 2 months into the investigations, and the report remained to be made public. An FIR was filed in Patna making false allegations against Rhea Chakraborty and her family in July 2020. The Mumbai Police, ED, NCB and CBI including Patna Police have conducted investigations against Rhea." Concluding his statement, Satish Maheshinde stated that Rhea Chakraborty was mentally tortured by the people all over the internet. He also labelled the whole case a 'bogus' one and also reminded everyone that no evidence is attained by CBI against Rhea so far. He concluded, "She was arrested in a bogus case with no evidence by NCB. She was harassed by Various agencies and remained in custody for almost a month till the Bombay High Court released her on Bail. Rhea filed an FIR accusing the sisters of SSR administering him illegally obtained Medicines without proper medical advice and on the basis of a bogus prescription. She alleged that the cocktail of drugs and illegally administered medicines could be the cause of his death."
