Today, on April 19, 2019, Surveen got blessed with God’s grace in the form of a little angel, whom she has lovingly named Eva. While we are eagerly waiting to see her little girl, the actress gave us her cute little glimpse. She took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of her little baby’s tiny toes. She captioned it as, “We now have her tiny feet to fill the tiny shoes! Blessed by her wonderful arrival in our little family! Welcoming our daughter Eva”. Take a look at it below:
Coming back to Surveen’s magical love story, in an interview with the Filmfare, the actress had revealed about her wedding deets, and had shared, “We decided to marry in just a few months into our relationship. It just felt so right...time is never the criteria when you meet the right person. How long you know the person is of no relevance. We chose to keep it private and have a hush-hush affair. To tie the knot in Italy and have a white wedding was always how I had dreamt it to be and Akshay happily made this dream ours. It was the summer of 2015 when we exchanged vows.” (Also Read: Throwback: Sanjay Dutt Was Miffed With Richa Sharma When Trishala Dutt Called Him 'Uncle' Not 'Dad')
She had further added, “In 2015, I was a little sceptical, a little apprehensive about going public with my marriage announcement due to obvious reasons pertaining to work. How the majority of people in our industry look at the marriage of a female actor is sad but true. Let alone the industry, women in every profession are looked at differently if they are married. It’s unfair. Men can be married but their marital status have no effect on their professional lives. Do you become less charming, less appealing, less beautiful, less sexy, lesser of an actor/artist/professional -- just because you chose not to delay the next natural phase of your life, tell me?”

In the same interview, she had also talked about embracing motherhood, and had revealed, “How and why does marriage or motherhood define your career? Or sometimes even perceived as the end of it? Women must define this for ourselves. We must become more open about our relationships or our marital status. Honestly, it took me some time to grow out of this thought process myself. When it finally dawned upon me that if your good at what you do, people will want to work with you people will hire you for the job, and you will shine irrespective of anything else.” (Don't Miss: Ekta Kapoor's Mom Hates Taking Her To Weddings As She Puts People In Place For Saying, 'You're Next')
