Sunny Leone, who is also known as Karenjit Kaur Vohra, has always been brutally honest about her opinions in all of her past interviews. Sunny, with her hard work, has proved that she is more than a pretty face. The former adult star had made her acting debut in the film, Jism 2 in the year 2012 and won millions of hearts. Though she enjoys a massive fan following and a luxurious lifestyle, the actress faced rejections from many renowned brands as they did not her to be the face of their company.
Talking about her personal life, Sunny Leone is married to a businessman, Daniel Weber and they had embraced the parenthood journey after six years of marital bliss. The much-in-love couple had adopted a 21-month-old baby girl from an orphanage in July 2017 in Latur and have lovingly named her Nisha Kaur Weber. Later, they had welcomed their twin boys, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber, in the year 2018 through surrogacy.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sunny got candid and revealed her disappointment towards the brands, who still judge on the basis of her dark past and do not offer her clothes or make-up products for endorsement. Talking about the same, Sunny said:
“There’s no makeup brand in India who would put me in their ad film. That hurts, you are like ‘I can be just as good as they are’ A clothing brand that won’t give clothes to you to wear at an event because they are like you are not big enough for them. Then what do you do? I created my own makeup line, my own clothing brand. It’s mine. It’s really just about saying ‘you know what? Buzz off, I will just create it and make it all about how I want the world to view my brand’.”
Further in the conversation, Sunny talked about the pain of rejection and shared that many times she had been rejected by movie directors even though she had wanted to work in the film. Sunny can be quoted as saying:
“It all has to work. Some people think when you sign a film, it’s just one yes, but you say a yes to so many different things… they have to happen before you even reach the set. I am talking about the business side of things, your contract, the money, stylist, hair and makeup person, what’s required of you. That’s how it is atleast for me. There are a lot of things we say no to, and ithurts their feelings probably. Think about it, if you are trying to sell something and they say a no, of course it hurts. But there have been times when I have been rejected for certain projects, that I wished to be a part of.”

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sunny Leone was asked how she would shed off her past image as some people still address her as an adult movie star. Answering this, the Ragini MMS 2 actor had given a savage reply and had said that she is proud of her roots. She had also given the due credit for her success and fame to her past and had mentioned:
“I am who I am. My past has made me what I am today. I am not ashamed of it. I am here in India to start a new life, do good things and be part of a world that I never thought could happen to me. That way I am living a dream. This is my journey, my true story. I actually went through a lot of creepy things to get where I am today. But it doesn't mean that I am not strong. I have the strength to survive the punches and attacks directed toward me. I am a fighter. I can survive all the negativity around me.”
On the work front, Sunny Leone is prepping for her upcoming Tamil film, OMG: Oh My Ghost.
