Sunita Ahuja Upset By Govinda's Apology With Folded Hands On Her Behalf, 'Mujhe Bilkul Acha Nahi..'

The Bollywood film industry during the '90s was synonymous with the name of Govinda. Though the star's shine might have faded a little, Govinda has become the talk of the town again. And it's all because of his wife, Sunita Ahuja. She seems to have become the media darling with her many statements on their marriage and personal lives. However, Sunita was upset after Govinda had to apologise on her behalf with folded hands. 

Sunita Ahuja had spoken against their family priest, but Govinda condemned her remarks 

In a recent interview with Paras Chhabra, Sunita Ahuja talked about their family priest during discussions about false and fraudulent godmen. She said that her husband, Govinda, has a priest who reportedly keeps charging them money for rituals. Sunita shared that she tells the Dulhe Raja actor to do his own puja, but he did not relent. Sunita was quoted as saying:

“He is Govinda’s priest. He’s fake. He keeps suggesting new rituals and pujas and keeps charging money for them. ‘Yeh puja karao, aur Rs. 2 lakh do!’ I tell him so many times to do his own puja because his puja won’t help Govinda. I don’t believe in giving away Rs. 2 or 10 lakh for so-called rituals.”

Govinda did not like his wife's words against his personal priest, Pandit Mukesh Shukla. The actor took to his Instagram Stories and shared a video highlighting his pandit ji's expertise and how the Ahujas have been connected to him for a long time. Govinda also offered apologies to Mukesh Shukla and his family on behalf of Sunita. The actor said in his apology statement:

"My wife made some inappropriate remarks about Pandit Mukesh Shukla during the podcast, and I strongly condemn them. I offer my sincere apologies. Pandit Mukesh Shukla and his family have stood by me in difficult times, and I have deep respect for him."

Nearly a week after Govinda's video statement, Sunita Ahuja discussed this in her latest YouTube vlog and expressed how she was upset that her husband had to fold his hands and bow down because of her remarks. She then clarified that Govinda has at least three pandits and that she never took anyone's name. Sunita also offered her own apologies to the gurus of all the shrines if she had hurt anyone's feelings. Govinda's wife shared:

“Kaafi sun rahi hoon ki maine kuch galat shabd use kiye hein. Mere adarniya Govinda ji jo mere patidev he unhone bhi haath jod ke maafi manga he. Jo mujhe bilkul achcha nahi laga kyuki main apko ek baat batau chi chi main kabhi chahungi ki ap kabhi kisi ke saamne mere liye haath jodey. Maine kisi ka naam nahi liya tha, ki specifically maine kisi ke baare me bola. Mere saath aise kuch hue the cheesein toh maine isliye bola."
