Sunita Ahuja Praises Govinda's Fashion Amid Divorce Buzz, 'Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh Follow..'

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja were once one of the most ideal couples in Bollywood. They have been together for over 37 years, but now only mystery is looming over the relationship. The duo have been the centre of controversy after their separation buzz surfaced on the internet. Despite them calling the rumours baseless, Sunita and Govinda have given mixed hints to fans. Recently, the buzz started once again after Sunita Ahuja appeared on The Bombay Times Fashion Week, raising eyebrows.

Sunita Ahuja praises Govinda amid divorce buzz 

Sunita Ahuja recently attended the Bombay Times Fashion Week with her son, Yashvardan Ahuja. She came to cheer her daughter, Tina, who walked the ramp. Amid the show, Govinda's better half sat down for a conversation with IANS and praised her husband's fashion sense. She called it a mix of 'classy' and 'massy', highlighting that it has inspired new-age stars. She said:

"Whatever trend is initiated by the stars, it is followed by the people. Back in the day, whatever Govinda used to wear, it used to suit him. Even now, young actors such as Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh are following in his footsteps regarding fashion. Govinda is a class Hero."

Sunita Ahuja, who didn't pursue her career to care for her family, emphasised the need for women to be financially independent. The diva, who is planning to make a new beginning in life, shared that she has prayed to God to give her a lot of work this year that can help her become independent because her kids have grown up. Sunita admitted that it's a blessing for someone to have work and earn money. For those unaware, some rumours suggest that she might be a part of the next season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. In her words:

"I have asked for work, name, fame, and respect from Mata Rani this Navratri." 

Sunita gestures to the media to 'zip it up' after they ask about Govinda 

Sunita Ahuja and her son, Yashvardan Ahuja, also went on the stage after Tina Ahuja walked the ramp in Mumbai on April 13, 2025. When she posed with her son for the paparazzi on the stage, some media personnel asked her about her husband's whereabouts. In turn, Sunita left everyone stunned as she gestured and asked them to be silent while her son appeared visibly uncomfortable. When the photographers continued with the demands, she sarcastically said:

"Address de doon kya.”

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's relationship came into the limelight in February 2025 when some media reports suggested that the couple had filed for divorce and the actor was allegedly dating a 30-year-old Marathi actress. Later, Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that Sunita had filed for divorce, but now the couple was back together. Govinda mentioned that he was busy working on his comeback and avoided making any statements. However, Sunita later said to ABP:

“Positive hai ya negative hai. Positive hai mujhe pata hai. Mai sochti hu kuttey hai log bhaukenge. Jab tak aap mere ya Govinda ke muh se kuch na sun lo toh aap yeh mat socho kya hai kya nahi hai.”
