Sunita Ahuja Claims Husband, Govinda Is NOT Dating An Actress, Says, 'She Only Wants His Money..'

Bollywood celebs' love lives or married lives are rarely a private affair. One such example is the married life of superstar, Govinda. Having debuted in 1986, with the action drama, Ilzaam, Govinda has enjoyed a successful career in the film industry ever since. In 1987, the actor tied the knot with his current wife, Sunita Ahuja. After decades of marital bliss, their marriage seems to be facing a roadblock. Ever since 2024, rumours have started to surface about Govinda having an affair with a young Marathi actress. Now, his wife has come out and said otherwise.  

Sunita Ahuja clarifies Govinda's dating rumours with a younger actress  

While you might think that Govinda enjoys an impeccable image due to his years of experience in the film industry, that's hardly the truth anymore. Unfortunately, the veteran actor has found himself embroiled in controversy for the past year. In 2024, Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, faced divorce rumours. These rumours lasted quite a while until both of them reunited to dispel the gossip. During the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in 2025, they claimed that the gossip was nothing more than a 'misunderstanding'. However, fans and the media weren't so quick to believe the pair since Govinda allegedly having an affair with a young Marathi actress has continued to appear in the headlines.  

As you can expect, having to deal with such unpleasant rumours, especially when it concerns a person you have spent half of your life with, can't be an easy task. Sunita Ahuja claimed the same during a recent conversation with ETimes. She said:  

"I treat 2025 as a very bad year for me because I've been hearing about Govinda's controversy that he is having an affair with a girl, but I know that she's not an actress because actresses don't do such bad things. She doesn't love him; she only wants his money." 

Sunita Ahuja wants her husband, Govinda, to put an end to all the controversies surrounding him in 2026 

Since 2025 was not kind to Sunita Ahuja, the superstar's wife wishes that she would like some changes in the upcoming new year. Her main wish is for her husband, Govinda, “to put an end to all these controversies.” Only then will she be able to have a “happy family in 2026,” as she hopes. While wishing that it happens as soon as possible, Sunita says: 

“I hope it happens very soon. I am hoping that Govinda realises that the most important things in his life are three women: his mother, his wife, and his daughter. No one has a right to keep the fourth woman in their life. This is for every man in the world, including Govinda. I want Chi Chi to leave all his chamchas and focus on his work because even they are with him for money." 

Sunita Ahuja said, “koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta” while putting an end to her divorce rumors with Govinda in 2025 

At the beginning of 2025, when the divorce rumours surrounding Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, were at their peak, the couple appeared before the media to dispel them. Sunita, in particular, strongly denied them when speaking to the press during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. She questioned how they felt after seeing the couple so close together. In her words from that time: 

"Aaj media ke muh pe thappad nahi padi hai kya? Humko saath me dekh kar. Itna close...agar kuch hota toh itne nazdeek hote? Humari duriya hoti. Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta. Chahe upar se koi bhi aa jaye...Mera Govinda sirf mera hi hai aur kisi ka nahi hai.”
