Suniel Shetty once recalled the time when Athiya made him meet KL Rahul for the first time

Taking to his LinkedIn handle, Suniel Shetty recalled the moment when his daughter, Athiya Shetty made him meet KL Rahul for the first time. In the same note, the actor also compared that moment with his first scene on-camera. He penned:

“I was petrified on my first day on a film set, and almost never showed up. 30 years later I still felt nervous on my first day of filming with the great Rajinikanth Sir. At home, I felt jittery when Athiya was bringing Rahul over to meet us as a family for the first time.”

Suniel Shetty felt lucky to have KL Rahul as his son-in-law

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Suniel Shetty expressed gratitude and happiness on having a person like KL Rahul as his son-in-law. He proudly mentioned how the latter is more like a son to him. Sharing how he gets anxious when KL Rahul has a match to play, Suniel Shetty revealed:

“I am anxious because that’s my child playing. I would wish well for him but through his eyes and seeing him, I have started empathising and sympathising, appreciating every cricketer there is here. When your child goes through a low, it shakes you more probably than it shakes the child because he is the master of that form but you don’t know. You are seeing him as a father."
