Popular Sufi singer, Bismil has lent his voice to several songs about divine love. However, on January 5, 2024, in Jaipur, the ‘Pink City,’ Bismil sang a duet of a different kind as he tied the knot with his stunning bride, Shifa Khan. Bismil and Shifa met through family relations, but their union didn’t feel planned, as their bond only grew stronger over time. On January 6, 2025, the singer took to his Instagram account with some love-filled pictures from what will surely be the most memorable day of his life.
Bismil’s tastefully opulent D-day ensemble exuded an air of royalty and sophistication. The singer donned a cream-hued sherwani featuring elaborate and extensive gold and silver embroidery, adding to the luxurious feel of his outfit. He paired the same with similarly-hued churidars. For footwear, Bismil opted for light-toned juttis, which also featured gold-hued patterns.
Bismil also wore a cream-hued turban on his head, which he adorned with a gold brooch layered with glittering stones in shades of green and white. Bismil added further opulence to his wedding day attire by accessorising with a layered necklace featuring diamonds and emeralds. He also sported an elegant gold watch on his wrist, adding a subtle luxury to his ensemble.
Bismil’s outfit perfectly complemented his gorgeous bride, Shifa Khan’s rich, deep red-hued lehenga choli, which was laden with heavy gold embroidery. The intricacy of the patterns and detailing suggest a luxurious, handcrafted design. Shifa also draped a sheer, deep red-hued dupatta featuring gold embellishments over her head. Her accessories oozed opulence as she opted for a statement necklace with multiple layers of stones, earrings, a maang teeka, rings, and a stack of bangles featuring shades of red, white, and gold, as well as embellishments. Her minimalistic gold kaleeras were also unmissable. Shifa’s makeup for the day included a flawless base, soft contouring, a touch of blush, kohl-rimmed eyes, darkened brows, mascara-enhanced lashes, and soft pink lips.
On January 6, 2025, Bismil took to his Instagram handle with the most beautiful pictures from his wedding day. Every picture oozed love, happiness, and sheer excitement as the couple embarked on this new phase of life. The first glimpse showed Bismil planting a kiss on his gorgeous bride, Shifa Khan’s forehead as they held hands. The second picture showed the couple signing the Nikaah Nama, while another featured them placing their thumbprints on it.

One glimpse captured Bismil and Shifa seated separately as the Nikaah was in progress, and another showed Bismil delicately lifting the veil off Shifa’s head. However, the sweetest picture of the bunch had to be the solo shot of Bismil as he happily showed off his signed Nikaah Nama, expressing his joy upon starting a new journey as husband and wife. Bismil’s post was beautifully captioned:
"Nikaah Mubarak. Brought together by Allah’s mercy, beginning a journey of Love and endless blessings. #shifa-e-Bismil."
Before Bismil and Shifa tied the knot, the singer spoke to the Hindustan Times about his upcoming nuptials. During the same, he described his to-be wife as an ‘incredible person’ who was ‘grounded, kind and full of positivity.’ The singer also gushed about all the surprises he had lined up for his beautiful bride, including singing a special song for her at their sangeet. Bismil also mentioned that he had picked out ‘personal and meaningful’ gifts for Shifa that he knew would make her smile.
