Weddings in India are no longer comprised of a coy bride and groom, who had literally no say in their wedding attire to the shaadi decor. Modern Indian weddings are all about making them look bigger, better, and trendier. In the race to trend on the internet, brides are ditching the red attires and going all pastels. And when we thought we had seen enough pastels, we stumbled upon a bride who wore a unique mint-hued saree with traditional motifs of the traditional Hindu Goddess Lakshmi.
For her mehendi ceremony, the bride picked a mint blue-hued saree. The outfit featured a delicate gold gota and mirror-work. The saree was styled with a bejewelled metal blouse with the motif of Goddess Lakshmi as she kickstarted the new journey of her life. It also had tassel detailing of elephants, which is another auspicious motif for a bridal outfit.
The bride's look is further accentuated by her dupatta, which is adorned with intricate depictions of Radha Krishna's Raasleela, which is considered the ultimate form of love in Hinduism. It is also inscribed with sacred shlokas that celebrate divine love.
The bride's look was further accentuated with a pear and polki choker, a heavy pair of statement earrings, and royal bangles, adding the traditional touch. Subtle makeup with kohl-filled soft eyes and nude lipstick completed her look. She styled her hair in a braid with a customised parandi that was a mix of pom-pom, tassels, embroidered hearts, little dolls and vintage pieces.
Sharing the photos, the bride explained the details of her pretty yet uniquely designed saree. She wrote:

"As I step into this new chapter, every part of this look feels like a reflection of my journey. The mint blue saree, with delicate gold gota work, mirrors the calm and joy in my heart, while the dupatta, adorned with intricate depictions of Radha Krishna’s Raasleela & sacred shlokas, celebrates the beauty of divine love. The metal jeweled blouse, featuring the grace of Laxmi Ji, is paired with metallic motifs and tassel details, adding an elegant touch. My braid, embellished with vibrant tassels, carries the essence of playful tradition, while the red dot behind me, inspired by the ‘lal bindi, stands as a symbol of strength, love and auspicious beginnings."
Talking about her wedding look, Garima yet again left us bowled with her choice of outfit. Instead of picking a usual lehenga, she went all fashionista by picking a saree lehenga in gold. The bride chose a crinkled saree lehenga, which had 3D detailing on the waist. Her pallu was pinned over her other hand. She styled it with a v-neck blouse. A sheer golden dupatta completed her look.
The bride's look was totally unconventional with a polki choker, a dainty maang teeka and a sheeshpatti. Talking about her makeup, she opted for golden-hued soft eyeshadow, defined brows and nude-toned lipstick that completed her look.
What do you think about the fashion stylist's wedding looks and how she turned her wedding into a runway, flaunting her style?
