Natalia Dyer and Joe Keery were first coupled up on screen and played the roles of 'Nancy Wheeler' and 'Steve Harrington'. However, after their relationship gets too complicated with a love triangle which includes 'Jonathan Byers', 'Nancy' leaves 'Steve' to be with him. In real life, too, Natalia is in a relationship with Charlie Heaton, the actor who stars as 'Jonathan'. But fans of the show have shipped her with her platonic co-star, Joe Keery a lot of times as well.

On the set of Stranger Things Season 1, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton met for the first time in 2015. They fell hard and fast in love just as 'Nancy' and 'Jonathan' did. Even before that, sparks were flying between the two costars during a chemistry read, the creator of Stranger Things, Matt Duffer, shared with GQ. Soon, as people noticed they were also hanging out a lot and going on vacations behind the scenes, speculations began about the status of their relationship. 

At the Fashion Awards in London, Natalia and Charlie confirmed they were dating as they walked the red carpet together in 2017. Although they have been together for nearly ten years, Natalia and Charlie have never been a couple who engage in PDA. Hence, even though they are in a public relationship a lot of people are unaware about the fact that they are romantic partners in real life too. In a rare comment about her relationship with Charlie, Natalia shared with V Man:

"Yeah, because there are times when you do get stressed. So to go home with someone you work with, and say, 'I think they hate me ... ' They'll say, 'No they don't.' You can break the walls down with your partner. Because we work in the same industry and have had similar trajectories, we've gone through it together,"
