It was on October 17, 2025, when Steve Bridges' wife, Chesley took to her social media handle and confirmed her husband's passing. She revealed that he passed away in his sleep, on their couch. While the real reason behind his death was not known, the Police had told TMZ that he believed it was due to natural causes. Chesley didn't disclose the real reason for her husband's passing, and it will be through the autopsy reports that the reason can be confirmed. Chesley also shared that her husband was focusing on his diet and fitness, and it was because his family had a history of dying early. As per Chesley, Steve's grandmom died in her sleep when she was 52 years old, and both his father and grandfather died in their 40s.
