Sonu Sood Gives A Major Health Update About His Wife, Sonali After Her Severe Road Accident

Sonu Sood is admired for both his acting and philanthropic activities. He is a versatile actor who won hearts with his positive and negative roles in iconic films like Jodhaa Akbar, Yuva, Happy New Year, Dabangg, Simmba etc. Moreover, the actor proved he was a real-life hero when he stepped up to help migrant workers and underprivileged people during the COVID-19 pandemic with finances and medical aid. Some fans even worship the actor, and everyone was left worried when the news about his wife, Sonali Sood's accident, broke the headlines. But, finally, the actor has shared positive news about her health. 

Sonu Sood reveals his wife, Sonali Sood has been discharged from the hospital 

Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali Sood, got injured in a road accident in the late hours of March 24, 2025. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, and Sonu left to be by her side. After staying under observation at a Nagpur Hospital, Sonu Sood shared that she had been recovering from her injuries. Recently, he has confirmed to the Hindustan Times that Sonali has been discharged from the hospital. In his words:

"She is doing great and has got discharged."

A couple of days ago, Sonu expressed his gratitude to all his fans and well-wishers who prayed for Sonali and his family. At the same time, he also mentioned that his wife and their other two family members travelling along with Sonali were also in good health. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Sonu penned:

"Dua mein badi takat hoti hai, and we have felt it once again. Thank you so much for all the prayers and heartfelt messages. We truly appreciate your support. Sonali and the other two family members are recovering well. Forever grateful for your love and kindness. Sonu Sood & Family."

Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali's car rammed into a truck

Sonali Sood was travelling with her sister while her nephew, Siddharth was driving the car from Nagpur airport to Byramji Town. But the accident happened when their car collided with a slow truck from behind as they tried to overtake it. The incident took place at the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon. The local authorities arrived quickly and took them to Max Hospital in Nagpur, where they were immediately treated. The hospital shared that Sonali was tested for internal injuries but only sustained multiple abrasions and bruises. 

Who is Sonali Sood?

Sonali Sood is one of the few star wives who prefer to stay away from the media attention. She hails from Nagpur and pursued an MBA. Sonali met Sonu during their college days and tied the knot in 1996. After his marriage, Sonu began modelling and made his way into films. On the other hand, Sonali turned into a film producer and co-produced films like Tutak Tutak Tutiya and Fateh. The couple have two sons, Ayaan and Ishant.
