There's no denying the fact that Sonu Nigam is a class apart from some of the finest singers of his generation. The singer has already sung in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Nepali, Maithili, Malayalam, Tulu, and many other languages in his career spanning more than 20 years. However, the singer had hit the headlines again after he had made some shocking revelations about T-series' CEO, Bhushan Kumar, calling him movie mafia. In an interview with the Times Now, when Ishwar Ka Vo Sacha Banda singer, Sonu Nigam was asked about his son, Neevan Nigam's future plans, he revealed whether his son will follow his footsteps and will become a singer in India or not. The doting daddy gave a shocking answer as he clearly stated that he doesn't want his son to become a singer like him and especially in India. Sonu said, "Frankly, I don't want him to be a singer, at least not in this country. He is a born singer, but he has another interest in life." The doting father revealed that his son is a pro gamer and is one of the topmost gamers of the UAE. Sonu added, "As of now, he is one of the topmost gamers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)."
Going further in his conversation, Sonu revealed that he has already shifted his son to the UAE, and he has already started achieving great things in the world of gaming there. He said, "There is a game called Fortnite. He is number 2 in Fortnite. He is the top gamers in the Emirates. He is a brilliant child with a lot of qualities and talent. For the uninitiated, Sonu Nigam's son, Nivaan is a 'born singer', and we have witnessed his incredible singing skills through his dearest daddy's IG handle time and again. For instance, on May 4, 2020, Sonu Nigam had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video of him performing with his son, Nivaan in a virtual concert in order to raise funds for the underprivileged. The father-son duo had won everyone's hearts with their performance, and along with the video of the same, Sonu had written, "My #IforIndia performance with Nevaan | May 3, 2020 #IndiaFightsCorona" in the caption.
