Sonam Kapoor Is Pregnant Again And Set To Welcome Her Second Child, Reportedly In Second Trimester

It is good news in Sonam Kapoor’s life as the actress is reportedly pregnant for the second time. Yes, you read that right. Sonam and her husband, Anand Ahuja, are all set to welcome their second child after Vayu. The couple has not yet announced the news, but a source close to them has confirmed it.

Sonam Kapoor is pregnant for the second time

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Sonam Kapoor and are husband, Anand Ahuja, are preparing themselves for baby duties yet again as they are pregnant with their second baby. The entire Kapoor and Ahuja clan are overjoyed with the news. A source close to the actress confirmed the news, stating that she is in her second trimester. The source further stated that an official announcement will be made soon.

When Sonam Kapoor partially revealed her son, Vayu’s face

Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Anand Ahuja, on May 8, 2018. And it was on August 20, 2022, when the much-in-love couple hopped onto the parenthood journey with the arrival of their baby boy, whom they lovingly named Vayu. Ever since Vayu’s birth, Sonam has been guarding him from paps. However, the actress partially revealed her son's face for the first time in May 2025.

It was on September 20, 2022, when Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja shared the first-ever picture with their baby boy as the little one turned one month old. The wholesome photo featured the trio twinning in yellow-coloured outfits. Sharing the picture, Sonam also revealed her baby boy's name, sharing that they have named him 'Vayu'.

Sonam Kapoor’s return to films

While Sonam Kapoor has shifted her priorities from films to family and her base from Mumbai to London, the actress is still actively building her career as a global ambassador for Dior and a co-founder of the luxury car care brand, Bhaane Group. Sonam Kapoor has been away from the entertainment world after embracing motherhood. For those unaware, she was last seen on the big screen in The Zoya Factor in 2019. When asked about the same in a previous interview with News18, the actress admitted that she is excited to make her comeback to the big screen.
