Sonam Kapoor Flaunts Fully-Grown Baby Bump, 2nd-Time Mom-To-Be Dons Ethnic With Oversized Necklace

Sonam Kapoor, at the age of 40, is all set to welcome her second child. The actress announced her pregnancy on November 20, 2025, leaving her fans excited. Sonam Kapoor is married to Anand Ahuja, and the two welcomed a baby boy in August 2022. Now, Sonam shared a couple of gorgeous pictures from a wedding.

On November 23, 2025, Sonam took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures. The actress was dressed up in an ethnic suit by Rahul Mishra. It featured an A-line kurta with salwar. Sonam was cutely flaunting her fully grown baby bump, and she styled her look with an oversized necklace.

The mom-to-be looked pretty in subtle makeup with her hair tied neatly in a braid. She accessorised her look with jhoomar earrings and traditional bangles. The second time mom-to-be ditched heels and opted for juttis to stay comfortable. Along with the photos, Sonam wrote how the heart doesn't change but starts beating for others. She added how she is wrapped in love, heritage, and the journey of becoming a mother.

When Sonam Kapoor tried hiding her baby bump 

During the Karwa Chauth celebration, Sonam made sure to keep her baby bump away from the media glares. In the clip, she was dressed up in a red Banarasi saree with heavy jewellery, traditional makeup and hair tied in a low bun. Sonam was seen sitting in the car, and didn't step out to pose for the camera. However, she didn't miss to wave for the paps, and was seen hiding her tummy with her hands and phone. According to reports, Sonam's team members asked the paps to shut their cameras before she stepped out of the car. 

Sonam Kapoor's second pregnancy began around September 202. She posted a picture in a white gown, with her hands on her belly. And styled it with an oversized shrug. Soon, fans wonder if Sonam was trying to conceal her baby bump. Later, Pinkvilla reported that a source close to the actress confirmed Sonam's second pregnancy and shared that she was in her second trimester.

Sonam Kapoor's career and personal life

Initially, Sonam's career took time to take flight. Her debut film, Saawariya, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, failed to impress the audience, but Sonam found a footing in the movie world and bagged many more films. While she had her share of flops, she also made her acting count and left a mark in the film industry. However, her acting calibre was loved in films like Ranjhana, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Neerja, Veere Di Wedding, Sanju and many more.

Talking about her personal life, she is married to Anand Ahuja. After dating each other, they tied the knot at a grand wedding ceremony in 2018 in Mumbai. The couple had a lavish sangeet and mehendi night, followed by an Anand Karaj ceremony. The celebrations were rounded up with a reception party and a grand after-party. It was the first time Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and many more renowned stars were together dancing their hearts out. It was in 2022 that Sonam and Anand welcomed their first child, Vayu.
