Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with the love of her life, Anand Ahuja. The couple welcomed their first child, Vayu, in August 2022. Recently, the couple celebrated their baby boy's second birthday, and Sonam posted an adorable video of her son looking the cutest in his stylish ensemble. On August 20, 2024, the doting mommy took to her IG handle and shared a video of her baby boy excitedly calling out to his mom and running towards her.
In the video, Vayu was seen dressed in a white-hued shirt paired with beige pants. He styled his look with black formal shoes. The little one proved that he is a fashionista, just like his mother, Sonam. Sharing the video, Sonam penned a beautiful birthday wish for her son on his second birthday, which can be read as:

"My baby turns two today!!! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, precious Vayu! Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You’ve filled our lives with so much joy, laughter, and wonder. Every day with you is an adventure filled with your boundless curiosity, your infectious laughter, and your sweet, loving nature. You’ve brought so much light and happiness into our world, making every moment more beautiful and every relationship stronger."

Further in the note, Sonam Kapoor added that Vayu has deepened the love between her and her husband, Anand Ahuja. She heaped praises on her son and called him her sunshine, music and little genius. Expressing her love for the little one, Sonam wrote:
"You’ve deepened the love between your dadaa and me in ways we never imagined, and you’ve brought pure, unfiltered joy to everyone who loves you. Your sweet spirit and playful energy make our family complete, and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. Vayu, you are our sunshine, our music, our little genius, and our endless source of happiness. We love you more than words can say, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will continue to bring into our lives."

On May 8, 2024, Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share a couple of pictures from his mundan ceremony. In the first photo, we could see Vayu flaunting his shaved head after the mundan ceremony. The little one looked adorable in a cream-toned Pathani suit, including a kurta, koti and a dhoti. In another photo, Vayu was seen holding Sonam and Anand's hands as he walked with his parents on the streets. Along with it, Sonam penned:
"To the love of my life. My everything , Happy Anniversary. Your unconditional love and support is my anchor and safe place. Getting married to you was the best decision of my life. We live in heaven. I love you more than I can express."

Since then, she has only appeared in a cameo role in the thriller film, Ak vs Ak, starring her father, Anil Kapoor, brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor, and filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap.
