Sonakshi Sinha has been making headlines after her successful stint in the web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. In June 2024, the actress married the love of her life, Zaheer Iqbal, after secretly dating him for seven years. Their wedding celebration made everyone happy, as it was tough to convince their respective families, and it looked like every lover's personal victory. Recently, Sonakshi kickstarted the promotions of her upcoming film, and was seen engaged in a funny interaction with paparazzi.
On July 10, 2024, Sonakshi was papped in the city, as she was posing for the cameras, a paparazzo asked her to get clicked with another one. Sonakshi smiled and waved at the person. Later, the paps said that he would get married soon if he got pictured with her. Sonakshi burst out laughing and quipped that marriage is an illness that spreads after touching. She said:

Like every other girl, Sonakshi also dreamt of marrying the one she loved, and her dream came true with a cutesy registered wedding. Finally, she was able to convince and give confidence to her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, about her love for Zaheer. They agreed and happily participated in the biggest day of her life. A clip from Sonakshi's intimate wedding went viral, wherein Sonakshi had put her thumb impression on the wedding paper, and she jumped with joy and hugged her husband, Zaheer.
While the video proved Sonakshi and Zaheer's infinite love for each other, we also noticed how Shatrughan Sinha looked away. Sonakshi's mother, Poonam, asked him to see her, but he still kept his eyes away. Soon, netizens started pointing out how Shatrughan Sinha looked away from his daughter, Sonakshi. However, it was the basic nature of Indian fathers, they do not show off their happiness as mothers. Sonakshi and Zaheer registered their wedding under the Special Marriage Act of 1954 in the presence of their close family. After the wedding celebrations, they hosted a reception party. Recently, Sonakshi shared new photos from her reception. In the pictures, Sonakshi looked gorgeous in the pretty red Banarasi saree from Raw Mango.
