Sonakshi Sinha Sells Her Wedding Home For Rs. 22.50 Crore, Earns A 61 Percent Profit On The Deal

Sonakshi Sinha left everyone in awe with her love story and stuck with her love, Zaheer Iqbal, despite their different religious belief. However, in the end, she was able to convince her family and her father, Shatrughan Sinha, to bless her union with her Mr. Right, Zaheer. The couple tied the knot under the special marriage act in a registered wedding at her Bandra West home. 

Sonakshi Sinha sells off her wedding home at 61 percent profit

Sonakshi left everyone in shock when, after her wedding, she put her home on sale. The actress' home, which is in Mumbai's most sought-after locations, sold for Rs. 22.50 crore. As per the registration documents, the actress purchased the apartment in March 2020 for around Rs. 40 crore and sold it in January 2025. 

Sonakshi earned a profit of 61 percent with the deal. According to the IGR documents, the apartment has a carpet area of 391.2 sq. m. and a build-up area of 430.32 sq.m, along with three designated parking spaces. The transaction involved a stamp duty of Rs. 1.35 crore and registration fees of Rs. 30,000.

The super expansive 4200 sq. ft. sea-facing apartment was earlier a 4 BHK. However, Sonakshi, who moved out of her parents' home, converted it into a spacious 2 BHK with decks. It is a gorgeous apartment with multiple modern amenities. However, Sonakshi set it up for sale at Rs. 25 crores. 

As soon as the video of her home on sale was uploaded, netizens flooded the comments section. While one user wrote how Sonakshi is 'desperately' trying to sell off the apartment, another one wondered why so soon. One user wrote, "Sonakshi Sinha desperate to sell this apartment for a couple of years now. They are not showing the jhopadpatti below."

Like every other girl, Sonakshi also dreamt of marrying the one she loved, and her dream came true with a cutesy registered wedding. Finally, she was able to convince and give confidence to her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, about her love for Zaheer. They agreed and happily participated in the biggest day of her life. A clip from Sonakshi's intimate wedding went viral. In it, Sonakshi put her thumb impression on the wedding paper, and she jumped with joy and hugged her husband, Zaheer.
