Sonakshi Sinha rose to fame with her debut alongside Salman Khan in the superhit film, Dabangg. She did an array of movies and web series and in no time became a fan favourite due to her charming personality and acting skills. She is the daughter of a renowned actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha and iconic actress, Poonam Sinha. In no time, Sonakshi made a place in Bollywood. The diva in her personal life is happily married to Zaheer Iqbal.
Sonakshi Sinha recently sat for an interview with Zoom in a round-table conference. Therein, she revealed that it is much more difficult for actresses to make a mark in the industry. Male actors work with many younger actresses, and no one bats an eye. However, once, she was in talks to work with an actor who was just 5-6 years older than her. But he rejected working with her as she looked 'old'.
Sonakshi Sinha did not name the actor to whom she was referring, but netizens started to wonder who it could be. One user said, "She is probably talking about Ranbir - she said the guy is actually 5-6 years older than her - it fits!!" While another added, "Yes, cause she’s worked with Shahid, Imran Khan and Ranveer Singh. So it’s probably Ranbir Kapoor." Another fan highlighted, "Also worked with Arjun Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra - so it rules out all these people."

Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024, under the Special Marriage Act. The couple was dating for 7 years and selected June 23, 2024, as the date of their marriage as it was the same date when they started their relationship. The couple looked stunning on their D-day decked in matching ivory-hued traditional ensembles.

In a joint post, the couple also wrote that on this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017), in each other's eyes, they found love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. They shared their first wedding pictures as man and wife and mentioned how their love has guided them through all the challenges and triumphs, leading to the marriage. A part of Sonakshi and Zaheer's post also read:
"Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi Zaheer. 23.06.2024.”
